I received the same postcard, but mine says "Fly A US Airline."  They have been careful (and devious) not to actually say US Airlines.  The phone number to which they want me to respond is 888-827-3190.  I did try to call to see if there would be some ID at the other end.  The "hold message" at the other end does not identify the company.  They just say they are flooded with calls and will answer in the order received.  Yeah, right.  Like I'm going to wait for that.
Would love to know if anyone has had an actual conversation with these blokes.

The name of the company is Millennium Travel and Promotions, Inc.  and it's a motivational mailer to get you on the line to sell you something. 800-514-2449

"fly a US Airline" is at the top of my "secured" mailer: that's advertising talk for "fly any airline" not necessarily a take on a single airline company.  They are using sleight of hand to trick your mind's eye into thinking it is legit.  Same with "This promotion is not sponsored by or affiliated with Marriot, but they are a major supplier" Yes they are a major supplier; but to whom?  They are just making blanket statements that will fool you into thinking it's legitimate.  This is also used by some collection agencies to get you to call them instead of them trying to track a debtor down.

Of course they are mining FB. While I disagree with the scam, they would be stupid if they didn't use FB for their sources. That could be where they got mine. BTW - thank you all for the information. I consider myself pretty smart, but I actually almost called these people. Oh well.

Really convoluted scam with details as reported under the number: 800-813-6994.

I found that info when I input the 888-792-7109 number through google.

That number was listed as a scam all during 2007.  Sorry to see that the scammers haven't been prosecuted.

yes, I received what seems like the same postcard with the 888-792-7109 toll free number.  It offers me 2 free round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental US in celebration of my birthday.  What made me suspicious was the Southwest logo and the small disclaimer stating it's not sponsored or affiliated with Southwest Airlines.
