Coz i received it a month ago from the same guy identifying himself as "David Williams" from Texas.

I just spent 20 minutes on the phone with a man with an Indian accent named "David Williams" from "Texas". Oh he is also his own supervisor. He could not answer any specific questions. I did ask him when was the last time my "Turned Off" computer sent a message to his company? He said "less than an hour ago". I asked if it was sent from my "Etherial Memory" which he answered "Yes".

I laughed in his ear for 3 minutes untill he disconnected.

received two persistent calls from this number claiming that my computer is infected.  first time I cut it short.  second time I listened until they wanted me to down load something to give them access.  very scary and they are very persistent - SCAM, SCAM it screamed to me.  only way to get rid of them is to hang up.

Boiler room call from woman claiming to be a Windows tech. Said they have been getting messages that my computer is infected. Wasn't going along with it so she put her supervisor on. Said he would tell me what my registration number was to prove he was legit. We went round and round and he said if I didn't love my computer to just hang up and gave me his phone number to call him back. So I did and HE CALLED RIGHT BACK! Wanted to know why I hung up and started all over again. Then his supervisor got on! I played along until he wanted me to enter a web address in the run box. Now I know how he was going to get the
number. This time I got hung up on!!

These folks called me and stated that my computer had mal-ware on it.  Then they stated that my SSL(software security Layer) certificate had expired and that only their Windows Certified Engineers could make the repairs that my computer needed.  Of course this service could be performed for a mere $99.00 or If I wanted extended service $159.00.  DON'T GIVE THESE SCAM ARTIST REMOTE ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER.  I'M SURE NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR COMPUTER ....SO DON'T LET THEM IN!

When they first called they stated they were from Windows Support....yea right!

We received this "urgent" call yesterday about infections in our PC and that they would "walk us through
the fix" . Kept them on the line a long time asking questions, and then refused to cooperate. Sounded wrong!!!

Got a call from this number claiming that they would help fix a problem on the computer.  When I said I was unable to do the things asked, I was passed to a supervisor who was very forceful in telling me what I should do and how to do it.  I think it was a scam.  I hung up.
