i am an ex employee of national financial advisors,i am very sorry for all of your loss, when i started, everyone told me everything was legal and true,i asked multiple people if these companys ever recieved their grants, the answer was always yes.needless to say i found out that they were not telling the truth, the police were always in and out of the building and they smoked marijuana in the office! i ended up quitting.Everyone that works there uses a fake name, michael jones, robert shapiro, john goldberg to name a few. They were featured on the local news when a woman from new mexico drove down to nevada to file a complaint.all i could do was be happy i did not work there any more, although i felt a great deal of sympothy for the companys that loss their money.these people are bringing more than 20,000 a month scamming people.i recently discovered they have moved offices and changed names. they now go by NATIONAL BUSINESS NETWORK.and they operate out of 3095 east patrick lane suite 1.John now goes by the name of john breneman.he also changed his phone number to 702-376-2068.last i knew when i left there was an amanda who was johns real assistant, her number is 702-715-9994 i dont know for sure if she is still working there, and the receptionist jeanice, who everyone around the office claimed was having an affair with john,if thats true she must still be working there.her number is 702-824-4254.i dont know if amanda and the receptionist knew about the scam, from my knowledge the owners kept it pretty hush hush. there was an arika working there, but i dont know if she still does, her number is 702-466-9701.again,im not absolutely positive if the telemarketers or anyone besides the owners and salesmen knew it was a scam.Their new business number is 877-428-5597 again their new name is national business network their new website is natbiznet.com these people need to rot in prison.

My partner received phone call in fall of 2008.  He charged the initial $2000.00 to his personal credit card.  We haven't received anything for months.  Two weeks ago we received a call from company affiliated with NFA
(United Funding Group) Derek Huntington told us that we will be awarded $750,000 upon the return of certain information.  We have tried numerous times to contact him and NFA by phone, fax and E-mail with no reply.  It is truly a scam.  We will be reporting them to the Nevada District Attorney.

That's because it's under NationalFinanceAdvisors.com instead of National Financial Advisors.  Looks great, but If you are so adamant about this company, how about complaining to someone other than on the internet.  If you want to help me shut these scam artists down, please call the Nevada Attorney Generals' office and put in a complaint.  I am the only one so far to go as far as the Attorney Generals Consumer Protection Agency informed me that with only one complaint they can't go any farther.  Get the word out on your website for anyone who has been scammed by National Financial Advisors.  Call Isabella at 702-486-3221.  Also, you can contact the Business Licensing officers in Henderson, Nevada and make a complaint.  That number is 702-267-1724.  As of today their doors are still open, but if enough of us contact them, we can get their doors shut TOMORROW!  HELP ME ACCOMPLISH THIS TASK.  I am going to Henderson tomorrow to the Licensing Bureau and hope to be there when they take them down!

Yep! It's a complete scam.  Started out looking like the real thing.  My husband and I even went by their office in Henderson, Nevada.  Had a conversation with Josh Wahlberg, who I hope gets what's coming to him.  I have reported this scam to the police departments in my state as well as Nevada, and these scumbags will be put down.  Also, if you have been scammed, contact the Nevada Attorney General's office and report the crime.  Send any and all information including times, dates, faxes, phone calls, Fedex parcels, UPS parcels, cashed check from National Financial.  If we don't stop these kind of people, there will be more people hurt and I want to put these people out of business once and for all.  They haven't heard the last of this little disabled dame!

We gave NFA almost $2000 in December to get our grant apllication started, we were approved for $125,000 grant. Filled out tons of paperwork, most of it same questions over and over. Been waiting, would call periodically, they would fast-talk thru the phonecall. Suddenly yesterday we get a call from a separate company, they have the $125 in an account waiting for us. They are sending us more paperwork to fill out for the IRS, and oh yeah...before we can get our money we have 72 hours to get them $5800.00. We were told when we paid our money down that no more would come out of our pocket until we had at least $100,000 in the bank. Well, gee, that didn't include this NEW company who did something, not even sure what. If we sent the money and they could get everything done in the next 2 days, which it would be cutting it close. Get WHAT done?? NFA is a scam. The BBB told me that a legitimate grant writing company DOES NOT ask for money up front. So...just how much longer am I supposed to be patient? And for what?

If you don't want to disclose your info, you wouldn't have gone with NFA's services - they make "high profile" web sites to make your company very visible to the public. At least that's what they say they do. If these web sites are so "high profile" why don't they show up in Google?
That's Great!

And did you know that it is ABSOLUTELY FREE to apply for Kellogg Foundation grants? You can do it through their web site at http://wrm.wkkf.org/uWebRequestManager/UI/App ... ee&LanguageID=0

You do not have to pay a grant researcher to get a Kellogg Foundation grant, so anyone who charges you for that service is ripping you off.

But since you said it was for your business and the Kellogg Foundation provides grants to non-profit groups that create community support for children, you are probably a liar anyway.

It depends what the grant is for. It all depends on the contract for the specific grant. If the grant is for conducting a research study on cancer medicines, for example then no paying your back taxes would probably not be what it is for.

In most cases if you use the grant for something other than what it is intended, you are committing fraud.

You can write proposals yourself. Goto Grant.gov - that's the legitimate federal grant site - it has all the contact info you need to get the forms to apply for any federal grant. You don't need to hire someone to do that. If you do hire someone, look for someone who won't charge you until after you get the grant, that is the way real professional grant writers work.

I am an ex employee of national financial advisors, and I have to say,the company is a complete scam.all of the sales men as well as the owners smoke marijuana in the office as well as promote under age drinking with their telemarketers.the owners buff and vinny have sex with almost all of the poor clueless girls that come in thinking the place is legit just by flashing their cash.they do not tell you the company is a scam when you come to work there.I had to learn that thru other employees.they are constanly afraid the police are going to come up there and bust them. They tell potential customers that they can check the bbb reports but its ultimatley impossible because they operate under so many different names. All of the salesmen use fake names. the owner vinny is married but is having an affair with one of the women in the office.John Goldberg(which I doubt is his real name) it seems is having an affair with the woman in his office, jeanice. She is their top telemarketer.she is very soul less and will pounce on anyones money.this company uses fed ex to collect clients checks I'm assuming to rule out any chance of mail fraud. They tell the clients they do not promise the grant but they do deliver the services they do promise.which is the business plan, the website the letters of intent..that is a load of crap.as soon as the company recieves your money they are done with you.I had to leave them as soon as I found out about what was going on.DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Dear Lost in Austin aka u got grants or working for nufagrupa, anyhow 'preciate the saga you were inspired to share.

SCAM   FRAUD   BEWARE
National Financial Ad visors, NFA Group, Inc. CALLED UNSOLICITED;;;;
semi-slick pitch, Our company is overqualified (maybe that was pre-qualified, forgot in the excitement??) for numerous grants after brief "survey" with telemarketeer (wonder if they wear hats?), money that does not have to be paid back for OUR business including debt, taxes, they write "special, custom, ONE of a KIND" business plan, grant proposal (ALL ABOUT GRANTS BABY, again one of kind, no templates allowed at nfa, everything from scratch), they will "CREATE" our high profile website to keep the grants rolling in, ONLY cost us mere $4,000 (how can they do so much for so little? AMAZING), THEIR fedex account (NATFINA so successful, paying our expenses right from the get go, my boss will be BRIMMING with confidence and reassurance now, how will we be able to sleep tonite???) pick up OUR company check, decision within 72 hours or we will LOSE.

NATFINA staff of MBA's, Doctorates, professional grant writers 4 over 10 years, licensed, clean/STELLAR BBB record, on and on, CHECK US OUT, even faxed us unreadable & black stuff & goofball picture to waste OUR ink & paper. Directed to www.natfina.com. MINOR waffle on references as SATISFIED customer info confidential
(TS / compartmentalized, nfa probably ex KGB ops guys moonliting, you know the drill),
as of course our grant money info will be, TS / top secret baby, only way to go. Pushed to make quick decision as this is prime foundation season for distribution of millions in grant money, many of which our company qualified/qualifies for, altho tiny bit short on disclosures/guarantees/policies, and you know the reference story by now. What if so much money comes in, do they still have swiss bank accounts, this is gonna be hard figurin out how to spend all the excess, we only need $11,287,436.99, that's what will make us whole and out of BK court. We?ll just call Bill & Melinda for 3rd party references and kudo?s about NATFINA, that's who can set us straight 'bout nfa, shoudda thunk that bee4., amazin the inspiration that comes to you after readin the success storiez here and on their websleight.

BEWARE, THEY ARE ONLY QUALIFIED TO LIE, CHEAT AND STEAL YOUR MONEY AND TIME from $1,000 TO $5,000, WHATEVER THEY CAN CON YOU INTO ACCEPTING FOR VARIOUS LEVELS OF FAKE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES. REVIEW THEIR CAREFULLY WEBSITE, WWW.NATIONALFINANCIALADVISORS.COM

AND YOU WILL FIND A LATE 1990'S STYLE webScam / site, Amateur (Kapital 'a", they surely deserve) on a good day,  godaddylowbudget STOCK template driven, as just may be the biz plan/grant proposal they will prepare from scratch, if YOU are lucky enough to get one,  already seen 1,000 times their version of graphix,   webmaster 101 minus 2  Quick search led to this site on first google page, thank you, thank you google, where natfina is listed under various tel numbers/names, 888-800-0178, 888-800-7951, 7955, probably dozens or more tel #'s, many, many pissed off, scammed, sent money, no results, i.e. GRANTS, no refunds, no returned calls, NO GRANTS ! ALSO ON THIS SITE, UNDER VARIOUS TOLL FREE NUMBERS THEY HAVE EMPLOYEES / OWNERS POST FAKE REFERENCES, GRANT EXPERIENCE VALIDATIONS, false success, RECOMMENDATIONS, THE ULTIMATE IN LOW LIFE ScUmBaGs PREYING ON STRUGGLING BUSINESS OWNERS.  Some examples below if you are not already puking and trying to make STOP PAYMENT on your check, if it has cleared, We are VERY SORRY. Contact email above & below.

Unless of course you are another successful, just like this SMALL BIZ OWNER IN AUSTIN, exuberant,  NATFINA client, (there are many that have been kind enough to share their successes and recommendations here on 800 notes site, thank you, multitude of fortunate ones for taking time from spending your NFA grant money to reassure us all!!!)

GRANT SCAMS proliferate over past few years of troubled economic times, government/foundations do not charge for grant applications,

NOR DO THEY (foundations) PAY 3rd PARTIES/VALIDATORS?PREDATORS 10%, what a crock. Well maybe not, 10% of nothing is, wow, nothing, so maybe that is true, nfa 10% chargeback "finders" fee, no GRANT,no need to pay 10%, now that will be attractive to most any foundation's bottom line.

very, very few (can you say NONE, if NAT. FINANCIAL is involved) if any (again remember the source of NONE) grants are directly available to small business or individuals, especially for operating funds, payroll, debt reduction/payoff, back due TAXES, (((NATFINA FRAUD PAYMENTS are NOT TAX deductible, as that would be the ONLY possible benefit and value of doing ANY form of business with nfa))) nor is grant money for expansion, real estate purchase, etc, etc, as our NATFINA caller lied, led, prayed for us to believe. Otherwise no commission checks for that loser (brian, paula, ashley, frank, pete, what a slew of gullible sleaze and loyal employees, ooops, most forgot austin, you will meet him soon).
Quickly it was apparent that this call is part of a large, well funded and organized FRAUD and SCAM to push desperate people into false hope that there is a REAL solution from the wonderful and caring folks at the beloved NATFINA institution, dear to the hearts of thousands, National Financial Advisors, aka, natfina, aka devine, aka world profits, on and on.
IF THEY CALL YOU, BEWARE, DO NOT FALL FOR PITCH, DO NOT SEND MONEY AS YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF !!! PRAY YOU FIND THIS SITE OR OTHERS THAT ALLOW TRUTH, distant relative of Ruth, we think she works there as well.

Did we mention NO RECOURSE, THEY know that their fellow BRETHREN in the mortgage SCAM industry are taking the heat & huge amounts of federal, state and local government legal resources, they have dreamed up and execute a slick scam to stay under the radar and only HARM is in their VICTIMS way.

Maybe your business sense isnt as keen as mine but i wasnt expecting "Miracles" Afterall there not "Wizards" there Financial Advisors (normal people with jobs)I knew applying for grants was a difficult process. Maybe you have a personal vendetta, or agenda. Reading all your comments reminds me EERILY of a scorned woman! Did someone @ NFA tap that A**? :)
