I'm getting SOOOOOOOOOO Sick of these worthless, no class, despicable so called Human Beings!!!!!! My Father got hammered by a bunch of ##%&*!!!! Jamaicans over a month ago! Endless calls coming up with everything under the sun trying to wheezle my Pop out of his hard earned money!! It just makes me wanna hang all these b*****ds up by their balls!! OH WAIT~they have no BALLS!! We ended up having to get a Private/unlisted number...well we had peace and quiet for about a month, AND I"LL be damned if it hasn't started again!!! On Oct. 18th, we had a call from "Jack McCarthy" who claims he's from "LOTTERY & SWEEPSTAKES CLAIMS...(something I couldn't tell what he said)! in Washington, DC., and he needed my Pop to call him back. Well the number he left for Pop to call was~888-801-8357! Now imagine this:this freak was undoubtedly a Jamaican trying to swing an Irish accent!! On Oct. 20th, there was a call from ACCAtel, 202-380-9014, the guy wanted to speak with my Pop, I asked who he was and what he wanted, he just kept saying he wanted my Pop, finally he said he was with "investigations" but not what he was investigating. I got my Pop on the phone and the guy asked him who answered the phone, my Pop said "my daughter", the guy said "well she sure is nosy!" My Pop told him "that's what she's suppose to do", the guy hung up. Later in the morning, we got a call,406-530-5353, the woman said she was from "Consumers Clearing House Sweepstakes" and was calling to congratulate my Pop for being the 2nd prize winner!(Oh so perky, bubbly was this broad!!) My Pop told her he didn't know what she was talking about, she said, well haven't you received confirmation in the mail, and he said no. Well she couldn't understand why he hadn't, but assured him he was the winner, and could he just hold while she connected him to the law firm they have handling all the legalities and such, so we waited for several minutes, then another woman came on, claiming she was Amanda Rappaport of Rappaport Law firm, and she was going to explain everything to Pop. He in essence had won $500,000.00, and the winnings were coming from "Union Bank International" out of Manila, Philipines. Now of course, taxes had to be paid to the IRS, and initially the taxes amounted to $250,000.00 but their law offices worked out a deal with the Union Bank and got it dropped down to $65,000.00 and my Pop would only have to come up with 10% of that which amounts to $6,500.00! WOW! What a great deal! After my Pop sent this money a check for $500,000.00 would be delivered by International Courier direct to his door on Friday! I then asked the woman one question, "how did you get this number, because it is an unlisted/private number?" She got alittle flustered and said "well, it's listed here on the papers from the sweepstakes company and she's sure it must be my Father's handwriting! And then she gave an official claim number to us and the number to the United States Lottery Commission, in Washington, DC, 202-249-7580. And told us to call this number and give the claim number she had given and see that he was actually listed as the official 2nd prize winner and was indeed entitled to the $500,000.00! She said she would call back in 30 minutes to give us time to make the call and confirm the winnings. So my Pop called the number, and a frigging Jamaican answered saying "United States Lottery Commission,Well my Pop said "Unscrew your Jamaican head and stick it up your damn Jamaican azzzz!!!" WAY TO GO POP!!! Needless to say, Amanda Rappaport of Rappaport Law Firm did not call back. But! Later in the afternoon, we got another call from AACAtel, this time a man said his name was James Dixon, and he was with the "Sweepstakes Fraud Division". He was calling to find out if we've had any problems with scammers and what they might be...well my Pop informed him of the "Jamaican" problems and of the new problems we've been having since we got the unlisted/private number. The guy seemed sincere and said he was going to look into it and do what he could to get it stopped.

These people....James Maxwell and Michael Paul have been calling our phone saying that they are from the IRS.  They say we won money and they want us to send them money for taxes.  I have called the IRS fraud line about this and waiting for their return call.  From what I gathered so far that this number was bought thru a communications company.  I will post an update with any additional information.  These crooks need caught and our Gov. should prosecute to the fullest extent of the law for impersonating government officials.

I did a *77 on my parents phone because they get these endless calls asking for either donations or some sweepsteaks cr@p. I thought I handled it and luckily I am the only one who answers the phone anymore since my parents can't hear over the phone anymore. There was a message from an agen James Maxwell asking my mom to call him in Washington DC and thinking her for some bill which couldn't be understood over the phone. I knew something was up because the return number was an 888 number and the government don't use 888 service that I know of. He asked my mom to call him back at (888) 825-8698
