Im from Jacksonville and i called 904 207-0180 for their scam.  The number said to call 888-804-8868 and the lady(if she can be called a lady) made it sound like this was the greatest thing since sliced bread.  I was recording the whole conversation on my machine. She told me jobs were guaranteed and i got that on recording.  I typed the number in google and found this site.  I then called the district attorney Economic Crimes Division at 714 834-3600.  The lady there said they have had a number of complaints about these people and to go on the website and fill out the form with my name and information.  I also told the district attorney office lady that i had a recording and she said that was helpful took my information down.

Don't fall for these people who are scamming hard earned money. Google any number to verify when they ask for money.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THE 888 SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found this job in the The Washington Post (WAsh., DC) on Sunday, July 13, 2008.  It was advertised under Administrative Data Entry Clerk FT/PT avail. 30-40wmp req'd w/basic computer skills. $10-$12/hr. DOE. Ph 202-281-4091; when you dail the local number it refers you to the human resources number @ 888-804-8868.  I was connected to someone named Nancy ext. 24.  I was informed that it pays $12-17/hr. you get paid every week. taxes will be deducted.  we have 4 full-time & 4 part-time positions available.  you would get your work delivered to your home by UPS every Monday by 9:00am
and UPS would pick up your completed work every Friday by 9:00am there is a one-time membership fee of $84.99 we offer a 90-day money back guarantee once you return everything back we will refund everything except the $14.99
I asked how soon will I be working, she stated that it takes about 2 weeks and you can start the following Monday. if you have any questions with the product you can call the company you are doing the work for and they will assist you. I told Nancy that I need to talk this over with my husband before making a financial decision like this, because it is hard right now to just do away with $85.00 and not knowing what you are getting yourself into. she stated that you can call be back my name is Nancy @ ext. 24, but this will not last long, so if you can call back today I would appreciate it.  If your gut is feeling uneasy about a matter then you better go with your gut feeling.  I just happened to type in the 888-804-8868 number and this just put the icing on the cake for me.

I called them and spoke with a Jasmine.  She seemed to know all the right answers to assure me that they were not fraud.  Well my credit card was declined   They tried to run my card twice.  Some tech guy named Mark called me and advised me that since it was a foreign transaction my c/c company wouldn't run it without my authorization.  I called my c/c company.  They advised me that the company charging me was potentially fraud.  So I did some research.  I found them on the BBB under the number 888-804-8868 with a rating of an "F." They were listed as Outsourcing Tech. I called back and spoke with Jasmine to see if she would lie to me again....I asked if they were ok with the BBB.  She claimed that they had no complaints.  That ticked me off.  I called back today and basically tried to make her and a coworker feel terrible for what they do.  I advised her that I found their rating on BBB under outsourcing tech.  She was immediately on the defensive...thats when I knew she was full of it. I asked her how she could get up in the morning and go to work knowing that she was ripping people off.  Basically I got told never to call back again. It was great.  Thankfully I was not at any loss because my c/c has GREAT protection. I am calling our local paper to report this number. Don't fall for it!

I knew this was a scam when I started asking questions the person just hung up.  This is really a shame what these folks are doing to people looking for a job with this work from home ripoff. My sister works for the city and is going to look into this company.

I also made a complaint to the FTC at this site.

I called the 1-888-804-8868 about a job advertised and found out that this is a scam, they advertise in local newspapers nationwide using local phone numbers that redirect you to the 888 number above and they try to get you to send them money claiming they have jobs lined up.
Well, there are no such jobs available they just take your money. I have come across this company before they still advertise in the same newspapers using different company names and phone numbers to trick the newspapers to release their ads. They have some nerve they use false company names as aliases like Citi Financial, Ostech, outsoure technology, optimal solutions and so on. Be very careful and DO NOT SEND THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!!!!!!! CALL THE BBB
OR THE NEWSPAPERS THAT THEY ADVERTISE IN TO CANCEL THEIR ADS!!!!!HERE ARE SOME OF THE NUMBERS THAT THEY HAVE USED IN THE PAST:1-866-901-8429
