KEEPING AN EYE ON ONLINE BANKING....  THIS ONE RED FLAG(S) ME....

This is a cash advance number, not sure how they got my information but you do get a machine when you call back.  Not a bill collector.

This is a scam.

Those of you that followed the instructions are victims.

You or someone applied for a cash advance using your or some of your information. The cash advance applied for was not a cash advance at all but a matching service that subscribes you into a one time and other fees.

Check your bank accounts for fees, your voice 'authentication' gave them authorization to debit your bank account.

Never give anyone voice authorization without knowing what your authorizing.

I had the same thing happen, I received a call requesting a voice validation, I did so thinking it was an actual company. I called back and it was a recording asking the same questions, did you ever get your loan?

The EXACT thing happened to me today

I recieved a call on my cell phone from this number asking for a voice signature to complete my loan application process. I actuall completed the process and once I finished, before the caller hung up on me the recorded voice said, "Thank you. Goodbye." I called the number back and was only given the option of completing a voice signature and once I didn't the call was terminated. I've tried to search the internet to find out who or what company this phone call was in regards to and haven't come up with anything. If anyone has any information please post something on this site. Thank you.

I received this called on Nov 13,2010 @ 0154 pm. telling me i was apparove for a loan. thank you that was all. I calle back the number no one answer the phone.

Got this call, same message and everything, also file a complaint with the do not call registry. I did that, and if we all band together we can stop this crap from happening again.

I applied for a payday loan and this number called me asking to record my name. this is weird.

also had a call on christmas day.  i am in need of a payday loan and have been applying have several,  but it's always 200 dollars and i am unable to show all incomes to prove 2010.00 monthly income.

Same thing...Have called several time asking for my voice signature.  They don't identify what company they are with or anything.. Say they need my voice signature to finalize a loan application.  Like I'm going to follow their directions when I don't know who the hell they are.

I don't care who these people are but they actually had the gall to call me on CHRISTMAS DAY! That is total BS!

They actually called me on Christmas. What a joke. Of all days to harrass people

ask me to leave my first and last name and press # and then hangs up, called back and it was a voice recording i pressed 0 to get a love operator and know one would pick up just the same recorded message

I received a msg from this # to finalize my loan app. And asking me to state my name.... I'm worried now because after doing so, the call just hung up

I rec'd call from 888-805-5478, did not say anything, but phnoe hung after stateing transaction complete.  I am reporting to authorities

I was desperate, and gave them my name as well. How was the company listed on your statement that took the money from your account? Maybe we can notify our bank to reject this company when they try to make debits.

I recieved a phone call from this number 8888055478 and it asked me to state my nae for verification purposes and I have tried to call this number back and it is a recording I called my bank account and had mone debited from my account and I dont know who they are.........................

I was in the process of getting a cash advance with a different company. Thinking that this was the same company, no a spam company called me asking for my name for name signature to be processed.  They took 106.00 out of my bank account, now I have to notify the bank.

Got a call from this number at my work. I let it go to my voicemail. I googled the number and found these posts about the number. not sure if they would count my vocemail as me confirming my name??? I hope not! I'm not calling it back either.

i recevied a phone call from 1888 805 5478 and they ask for me to state my name and when i did they hung up

When they called they just said they were cash advance and did not identify the name of the business. I tried to find a listining for the number and could not find it.  All businesses want to advertise to the public. That so call company is a scamm and I will report them to the authority.
