And I tell them you or someone put your number on a survey or on the net and it got added to a call list database and I'm just calling to do a survey and I'm not selling anything but if you would
like I can put you on our do not call list. I also have people who say you are not supposed to call me I'm on the do not call list, I explain to them that we are not selling anything and that since we don't the do not call list doesn't apply to us but that if they would like I can add them to our do not call list . I'm sure that telemarketers have all that info too and have figured out a way to use it to stay in business.  Not all people who call you are scammers but a lot are but people need to understand that they too are to blame for the calls and that the do not call lists are not fool proof.

Then I do hope you place their phone number on your internal do not call list when they tell you to do so.  Otherwise, your company is still liable to incur fines for disregarding that party's request.

Okay people are just stupid, let me give you a clue or two. I work in this industry, no I'm not a telemarketer I work for a market research firm doing surveys. So here is my advice for people. First the do not call lists have loop holes, I say this because my company uses one. We call people who put their number and or info on the internet or some list at one time or another. I get people all the time who ask how did you get my number s

Too true. When I look through the comments on this and other sites I'm just amazed by people who put their phone numbers in their post and then complain about getting multiple unsolicited phone calls. When you give any company your phone number or email you are running the risk that they can and will share/sell your information to other company's. You need to be informed and be your own advocate, when you give your info to anyone who isn't family or a friend.

I was contacted by this number via email and they sent me an application requesting I fill it out for a Purchasing Manager position working from home. I'm not that stupid to know that no company is going to let someone with my credentials work from home. IF YOU GET THIS EMAIL. MY SUGGESTION IS DO NOT SUBMIT!!! They have a letterhead of Innovative Marketing Service. Address. 205 East 44th Street, New York, NY. Other Tel: 646-863-6092.

never called or requested online quote.  don't give out my number.  so your business philosophy/model is to harass potential customers to save 6-cents.  Also, you have no way of knowing how many times you call a particular #????  How about once!  think about all the 6-cent blocks you could be saving!!!

Well let me say if you wanted to not waste time in calling people that you claim wanted warranty then why are the agents just hanging up without saying a word then call 2 minutes later? Something is wrong with your setup. I am getting tired of these phone calls and hangups. If you want sales this is not the way to do one. Its mindless. Mg must not be watching there people. My guess is if your company is real then you have employees riding the clock. By the way. I have called back several time and is put on auto hold then hungup on. ya great sales people there. Lets not make a sale today. lol

Non stop calling. When I don't answer, the call right back. Clearly this is a very aggressive telemarketer calling my cellphone which has been registered for non solicitors.

Very rude company. They call you from 888-808-3091 . They do not answer when you say "hello." If you call them back, they automatically have lots of information about you. Probably through scamming, spam, and phishing.  When you ask to be taken off their call list, they fight with you. Eventually they say they will, and then do exactly opposite. Spoke with Todd (very rude, would not give out the company address) and then took awhile got 'supervisor' (probably not) Simon (also would not give out the company address, nor website.)

Let me first start off by giving an apology to anyone who has been contacted by my company that didn't request a quote.  We only call the numbers entered online in the quote form and have no control over incorrect information being entered on the site.

Some of the posts I am reading here are absolute nonsense.  I am the owner of this number and the company.  We ONLY call the number entered on our sites requesting an Auto Warranty Quote.  I can provide any one of you with the name, vehicle info, email address, phone number and IP address the quote came from as well as the time and date it was entered.  If you are getting a call but never requested a quote then someone typed in your number either maliciously or accidentally.  As the quote comes into our site it is entered into the computer automatically so there is no chance of a typo on our end.

Nobody has ever threatened anyone, all calls are heavily monitored and there are only 12 agents on the phone, not hundreds where we might not hear them as management is constantly on the sales floor.

Additionally, if I call and get your answering machine and choose not to leave a message I don't pay for the call.  If I do leave a message then it costs additional money to market potential customers.  The claim that we don't leave a message so you, the consumer, is 'unprepared' makes no sense.  So basically you are saying we are hiding in the bushes waiting to sell you a warranty when you least expect it?  You requested the quote which leads me to believe you are ready to hear our offer.

When you request a quote online, there are usually additional questions we need to ask to quote you accurately.  How many years of c0verage you want, how long are you keeping the vehicle, how many miles per year do you drive as well as which series your vehicle is, is it 4 wheel drive, what size motor do you have, is it gas or diesel...I can't just email you a random price for a 2 year policy on a V6 that is 2 wheel drive when you may have a 4 wheel drive, V8 and wanted 4 years, then you will ask me to honor the original price.

For those of you who are on a National DNC or State DNC or both, that does not apply when you ask to receive a call by entering your number.  The law states we may contact you up to 18 months after your contacted us for the quote.  If you ask us to remove your number, we will.  If you already have coverage or are no longer interested, why would i waste my money calling you?  With regards to the individual who said they requested a quote 3 months ago, I don't know if you have purchased coverage yet, purchased a new car instead or have lost interest.  We call consumers up to 3 months after they request a quote because many people are shopping around or waiting for their tax return to purchase or are saving their money for a down payment.  Typically 10% of our sales are within the first 30 days, the rest come up to 90 days after the quote was requested.  Also from time to time we are able to offer special discounts or special payment plans as well as new rates always come in and new policies that may be more affordable.

The bottom line is that we receive about 7500 quote requests per month, each consumer is different, has different needs, different purchasing abilities and different expectations with regards to marketing.  From my point of view, if you requested a quote, I am going to do what I can to contact you and proivde what you are asking for.  If you don't answer, naturally I will call again when you can answer to discuss the plans available to you.  My intention is not to upset anyone, just provide you with what you have asked of me.

Last but certainly not least, all plans we sell are backed by A Rated companies, they are in no way a scam as one person stated.  With regards to price, we come in usually below the dealer, for example the warranty for my truck was $3480.00 at the dealer, $2430.00 thru our system.  We shop 4 different warranty providers to give the consumer the most coverage at the lowest price.

I hope this addresses some of your concerns.  I take my business seriously as well as my phone numbers, I use real numbers, not made up ones that nobody ever answers.  If this were a scam, I would make up a number to put in the caller ID like most companies do rather than use a real number and monitor it on the internet as I am doing now.

If you ever feel that you need to speak to a manager, just ask.  One will get on the phone and make sure you are removed from our calling list.

I thought for sure this was a debt collector who wanted to irritate me enough that I would answer the phone. This number has called about 10 times a day for the last 3 months. Boy I am surprised to find out these people are a company who wants to do business with me. Well it is the wrong way to go about it. I would never do it now even if I was interested (which I am not). At least leave a message. If you feel you have to keep calling, only call 1 time a day or less. Even that way you are not going to get customers. I had planned on blocking the number. Now I think I will report it & block it.

I will never do business with Autoguard because of these calls. If you had left a message I might respect you and consider you as a someone with a reputable offer but since you don't leave message you must have something to hide. You want to get someone on the phone who is unprpaired. I recommend not doing business with your company

1) This site is just a reporting site - they have no way to actually stop the phone calls.

2) Making a statement like "first and last warning" when you're not addressing the people calling you makes you sound like a complete idiot, which is probably why you're being telemarketed into hell, because they know stupid people buy s***.
