Thanks to Mike and all others who posted messages about this scam. I talked to Mark Brown at Circular Finance but now they have moved on to a new phone number 888-823-0345. I was told I would be approved for a 10000 loan if I got a cosigners, then when my cosigners contacted them they said I would need insurance. This insurance fee went from 1000 down to 300 when I said if I had money why would I need a loan. Was considering it but my spidey sense said do a little more research first. Glad that I did, it's great that the Internet has forums like this to help save us from ourselves.

You fell for the advance-fee-for-a-loan scam http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/telemarketing/tel16.shtm  It is illegal for lenders to require borrowers to send money up front to them for ANY reason before they get their loans. These fake lenders are criminals. Your money is gone. You cannot get it back. They will never give it back. They will keep dangling carrots in front of you like promising to refund for $275 or get the loan for $300 -- these are all LIES. Chalk it up to experience and move on.

***UPDATE***

IT IS AGAINST THE LAW IN THE U.S.A. TO ASK FOR OR TO PAY ANY UPFRONT FEES!!!!!

any upfront fees, ad advance/collateral payments, or insurance fees/premium
Under the LAW, if any of these may be required, under the Law it has to be taken out of the loan, period.
Also, the Canadian Government issued a statement in concern withe these scams coming out of Canada.
In short it states that NO banks, financial institutes, or private lenders are loaning any money to individual with sub-par credit to anyone outside of Canada, especially in the U.S.

Also if you do searches on bad credit loans, etc. There are a number of sites that come up with lists a mile longwith company names, phone numbers, email address and email extensions, emails and letters that are all known to be SCAMS.
FYI - this Guy Eddie and all these companies listed here on this site are all names.
This loan scam crap has gotten so bad that Interpol and Scotland yard have gotten involved.

So Eddie, when you read this, be forwarned they are coming for you.
My advice to you, you better start giving all these people their loans, giving the money back doesn't stop you from going to prison.
Again, my name is Mike and I can be reached at 732-678-4353, anybody cab call me any time

Telemarketer
OK here's the deal, apparently this is a scam.  My friend was contacted by Eddie during her search for a business loan. In short she was approved for a $150,000 loan. The hitch was she needed a co-signer or something worth that amount as collateral or an insurance policy (for people who don't understand this, it's actually called a performance bond, in which has to be taken out in person under the law). After her and I discussed this for about a week and her not believing me that it is a scam she preceded to to call Eddie and move forward. Well she decided to go with the insurance way. She asked how much she could spend, she stated 500-1500. He went middle of the road, 1,000. He told her to go to western union or money gram to pay the money to longhorn insurance in Canada (company doesn't exist) or send a check by mail but if she sent a check in the mail that the loan funds wouldn't be released until the insurance Co received the check
Western union or money gram was the fastest and the only way to have the funds released to within an hour (yeah right). He also old her about all scams out there. He guaranteed the money. Well after she told me all this, I said its a scam. Well we couldn't find the websites. So she got smart and googled the phone #s and this site as well as others came up. She had called him with her findings and again he reassured her and states all of you here didn't receive your loans because you all stole someone else's identity and the insurance Co discovered this when you all sent your money (yeah right). She again explained this to me. I again started its a scam. Now I got on the phone with him and asked a bunch of questions, none of which he could or did answer. He decided to disburse with the insurance and went to collateral. Her 10 trucks were not enough, he wanted a house. I offered him 350,000 pounds or copper worth just over a million dollars. I explained to him that I am in the scrap metal industry and the copper is in my yard and is waiting to be paid for. He responded with no one uses copper as collateral, I responded with, have you ever heard of the London metal exchange??? The world's economy is dependent upon copper....
Then he said it would need to be appraised that he would fly somebody out here in a few weeks (so full of s***). Then I went back to the insurance thing, I agreed to pay but only bank to bank. Debit card, electronic check or bank transfer. He declined stating that this insurance Co only does western union or money gram, they want the cash in hand. That, that's the only way "they" could get the money right away. That was the only way they do it. The entire world runs on plastic but not this insurance Co. Who you b***s***ting??.
Any how here are some facts....
Anybody who wants you to pay money up front by western union or money gram= SCAM!!!!
Anybody stating you need an insurance policy = SCAM!!!!
Companies with websites with no address or contact info= SCAM!!!
If they give you an address and you can't see it on Google maps = SCAM!!!!
companies or people asking for money using yahoo, gmail, MSN, aol, Hotmail, etc. =SCAM!!!
Always Google and reverse look up the phone numbers.
Always check the website date created and who hosts it.
My name is Mike I live at the Jersey shore in new Jersey my phone number is 732-678-4353. Please feel free to call me reference and or concern with this company and it's many names, Eddie and or my conversation with him.

HIM AND THESE COMPANIES ARE NOTHING BUT A COMPLETE SCAM!!!!!!
I feel bad for all of you that got hurt.

Ok...so I contacted this guy off the internet and had heard of Payment Protection Insurance and fell for it hook line and sinker.  Luckily, I'm not out too much money - only $300.00.  Apparently, Western Union doesn't recognize a scam.  Desperate people do desperate things.  This time the company was called Credit Yellting Financial.

Circular Financial or Circular Finance-.

Said I  qualified for a 9500 loan and that it would need to be secured thru collateral or a western union $. they wanted $ 580 to secure the loan.

I never made or applied for this loan....  it was a total scam!   Guys name was Mitchell young,  but he answered for eddie.  and his voice mail was "jeff"   said i should send my $ to Adanna Dewar.

The website they used was fake... and their company name was Circular Financial@yahoo.com.

Do not get fooled into this...--ripoff.

"YES" definatly a scam Eddie will say you are approved for a loan you sign the loan papers email them back. The scam is you need to buy a insurance to garentee the loan in cause you default on the loan. Thats where he asks you to western union or moneygram him the insurance money up front before reciving the loan money and he will not take money for the insurance out of the loan thankfully moneygram realizes scams and I did not loose any money because they contacted me asked before lifting the hold on the money and i got my money back. A learned lesson for me thanks to moneygram.
