I get a call from this number several times a day. When I amswer there is no reply. I am sick of it. What may I do to stop this?

I am getting these calls daily on my cell phone.  No messages are ever left to voicemail.  I answered once but there was no one on the line.  I answered again this afternoon and a female with broken English asked for me by name, to which I indicated she had the wrong number (I couldn't understand her and didn't have the patience to explain what "Do Not Call" means).

Call comes in on my cell phone no one answers and no message is left. When I return the call either there is no answer or it's busy.

Mine was the same as mad - 21 Apr 2008 as far as the call.  I told them never to call me again, but I am still getting calls like the one dgwall1 - 18 Apr 2008 posted.

I got a call from 1.888.816.8162 woman said I applied for business funding and needed to complete the application and I was approved for $250,000 in personal business funding. She had me go to www.wcemerchants.com - united bank card and complete the application ? I asked her where she got my info and she said I submitted it one her web site then I told her I have never been on this site before - when I told her that I was on the do not call list and asked how she got my information she said ?our marketing company gave it to me and said you had filled out the application in the last 6-12 months. I asked who the marketing company was and how they got my information - she asked if I am "Gravel and Stone LLC" or something like that, I told her ?you asked for me by name you did not call a company, you know who you called? I told her not to call this number again or I would complain and she said she was sorry she must have a wrong number. I asked her again ?you asked for me by name how you have a wrong number? she said she was sorry and I hung up.

Ok, so, she wants me to give her all my banking and personal information based on an application I completed looking for business financing, and it was a wrong number? Why would you ask for all of that information without verifying who I was unless you were planning on ripping me off and stealing my identity?

I have tried to call back but the line is always busy.

Called - left no message.  Call back to that number only rings busy.  I am on the NO CALL LIST !!!!  They should either leave a message or leave me alone!!!!
