Angel Food Ministries.  They are legit.  I've also ordered from them before.  This is a great organization!

I have never bought anything from Angel Food Ministries, and suddenly they have not just my home phone number, but my cell phone too. I don't know how they got a hold of either of them, but it's very annoying. They call early in the morning, late in the evening, and on the weekend. I've asked them not to call but to no avail. STOP HARASSING ME! I WILL NEVER BUY FROM YOU!

Angel Food Ministries is a great food relief program. This program is for EVERYONE, not just the needy. Anyone wanting to save 40 - 60% off of their grocery expense should check it out and place an order. If you are not "needy" or in a crunch due to this economy, well then BOGO. Buy one box of food for your family, and get one for a family in need or your local food pantry (only food pantries that can handle perishible foods). The majority of the food is meat and frozen vegetables, with some staples. The very things that cost us so much at the grocery store! The food is provided by the same manufacturerers that you see in the store, Tysen, Birdseye, Pilgrims Pride, Sanderson Farms, etc. Most boxes have steak, ground beef, pork chops, roasts and/or chicken. There are many boxes to choose from, and there is no limit to how much you can order! The food is top quality, and well worth it. I have been purchasing for 3 years and our family loves it! We save $500-600.00 per month by purchasing Angel Food.

The calls you all are receiving are an auto-dialer for those who ordered before. If you ordered before and do not want to receive any calls or emails, you need to contact the local host site you ordered through and have them adjust your customer file to state you do not want calls or email correspondence. Those fields in their database are automatically set to "yes" for both calls an emails unless otherwise specified by the customer.

For those not wanting calls, if you had ordered previously, you should contact the host site you ordered through and they can adjust your customer file in their database to say you do not want any calls or emails.

I received 5 calls in an hours time from AFM.  I at first did not recognize the number but by the 5th call in a matter of 38 minutes I decided to call the number back.

It is indeed Angel Food Ministries.  I was told that the call will keep trying until an answer is received.  (Sounds like an autodialer phone tree type set up)  They asked politely if I would like to be removed from the list.  I didn't really say I did but just that I was trying to figure out who was calling and why.  It is a reminder call to let you know you still have time to order.

Today I received another call from this number.  When I answered, it was just dead air for about a minute.  The call hung up and I've not received another since (for this month).  

So, if you are getting repeated calls and do not want them, just call the number back and request to be removed from their calling list.  If you still get calls after having answered once... I would suggest calling the number and letting them know that they may have a program bug that is keeping the autodialer from recognizing when the call is answered.

They are a good service and though I've not used them in a few years, if it came down to it again I wouldn't have any problem using them again.

Angel Food Ministries are good folks and they can be a real lifesaver during hard times.  The food is decent and the prices are GREAT.  They only call former and current customers.

I keep getting calls from this number/company. However, when I answer, they hang up. After finding this page from a number search, I called it back and demanded they remove my number. Hopefully it will work. Very aggravating!! I haven't even gotten anything from Angel Food Ministries in like 3 years!!

This number has called me 5 times in the past 3 hours. The first 3 times they let it ring twice and hung up. The 4th time I answered and after I said Hello, They hung up. The 5th time I answered and they just sat there saying nothing for 1min and 24sec and thats when I hung up.

Angel Food Ministries. I had used their service in the past. The voice mail invited me to take a new look at their website and give a donation if I was inclined. They are a great service for the needy!!!

AFM is an great service for those in need.  It is worth the occasional call since they are doing a great thing for our communities.  I ordered from them when i was in need and was extreamly thankful for what i had recieved.  Some of the food wasnt great.. but i was still thankful... Since then my life has turned around and i donate boxes for the elderly.  Those people who are ugly about this minor.. extreamly minor annoyance that acchives such good in the world .. only cares about themselves and needs to learn to care for what people are doing to help others... one day they may be in need... and hopefly they will learn how to appericate a good deed.

I searched this number and it looks like it may be customer service from Angel Food ministries.
I have ordered from them before, so it makes sense that they tried to call me.

Yup...Angel Food Ministries. I've had dealings with them before. They are legit.

Angel Food Ministries calls present and former customers to remind them of approaching deadline for placing orders. This is a very good program and not just for poor people. I see lawyers, doctors and others from varions walks of life picking up their food boxes often. Once in awhile I order a box for myself but most I buy is for others. I bought twelve boxes at Christmas time and buy a few boxes each month depending on how many families I feel are in need. The $31 box will feed a family of 4 for a week or one person for a month. They have other food assortments and menu changes monthly. This is good, fresh food, not left-overs or out-of-date stuff. Top quality and well packaged. Check their menu if interested. Google will led you to an Angel Food site near you.

I've ordered from AFM twice in the past six months and have NEVER found them to be obtrusive or harassing with their calls.  In fact, today was only the second call I'd ever gotten from them, and it was a reminder that the Easter box I'd ordered in February would be available for pickup this month.  I'd rather get calls from AFM any day than from the countless unscrupulous collectors out there who don't believe me when I tell them they have the wrong number (which they DO).

This was Angel Food based out of Georgia, however, the call was received at 10:30PM and this I find is ridiculous!  Unbelievable that this organization would call a home at this time of night

Didn't know who it was, so I didn't answer. I buy Angel Food; it is great food at a real savings! I don't mind being reminded.

I agree!!  It is like they just do not care.  I have told them and told them.  They are worse than other solicitors!!!

I have asked them not to call, it is like talking to the wind. I used them in the past, and spoke to the company in georgia to stop the calls, but they still notify me by email and landline. Email goes to spam, but landline calls can be tedious as they do not id by caller id. They need to stop.  I stopped using them bc I got tired of poor fruit/vegetable quality and be shorted in an order.

I dont answer my cell phone unless I know who it is. Now that I am aware of who this number is, I can put a name with the number so I will know the next time they call. Thanks Again !!

I am very thankful they give me a call. Even though my sister organizes Angel Food at our church, I like the reminder. I dont get to go to church that often because of my work and my sister being as busy as she is with 3 teenage kids, a husband, a dog and 4 cats and two jobs, she sometimes forgets so the phone calls are more than welcome here !

I received a call from this # on my cell phone as a text  (##Issue Detected on Suntrust Mastercars call 786-228-5737 ext 245) When I called that number it was to activate a debit card  I DO NOT HAVE. Is someone using Angel food as a cover. When I looked up the number is in Miami and unpublished. Angel Food is in Georgia. BE AWARE!!!

Angel Food... order from them sometimes off and on, usually like to order holiday packages for the good price and just the right amount for our small family. I just ignore the phone calls, it's the only marketing call received on Sundays that I know of... I know they need participation in order to keep going, several sites in my town have closed up. Just not convenient enough to order all the time for us. If they did it weekly, I would for sure just to avoid the grocery store. Really don't want to wait a month to get the items though.

I agree with the older post.. I love your food/products, i know where I are, I look at your site at least 2 times a month for updates.. Your email marketings were annoying and repetitious.. and the phone calls. Please stop. You keep calling me during work, and you don't leave a message.

This is definitely Angel Food Ministries - a fabulous group that helps the needy. I had ordered from them in the past, but hadn't for quite some time. They were just following up.

Yes Angel Food is not a bad group, this isn't an evil telemarketing company or anything. Got a call today from them. They will probably cease calling if I request them to.
