I called and some one answered and I asked the Name of Company and He told me he also had an accent. I told him  he was a collection agency and he said he could not release that

Sick of this.  This number calls me at least 20 times a day.  I have no outstanding debts.  How do I get them to stop????

I am tired of getting these calls

wanted to much personal information and will not say who they are

claiming to be contacting me because of a payday loan that I owe... claiming to have me served with papers will not take a money order paymnt, nor will send me something in writing reg my loan

They call every single day & night!! I cant have my answering machine or my ringer on because of these calls!!!! Me & My husband's family live out of state , we need to have it  on! Have done told them that I did NOT know that person they are wanting to speak with. This has been going on for 2-4 mths now & it's driving me bananas!!!!  That person I looked up on FB & she lives in another town in my state. Hmmm...how did they get our PRIVATE # ??

...this number has been calling me for months now....today i FINALLY got thru to a real person at this company (allied interstate, a collection agency)...a "randy" answered and , of course, i told my tale of woe..."randy" proceeded to indorm me that his company never ever attempted to call me...i then reminded him that his company called me just 45 minutes ago and i know they keep a record of outgoing calls, so he was in fact, lying to me...he then started to play "the loudest person is always right" (yelling at me)...i then reminded him that with every phone call, his company MUST identify themselves, according to federal law...he then changed his tune and admitted that he was trying to collect a debt from someone that doesnt even live here...he then resolved to going into the lie game again and i then got quite upset, finishing off the call with a basketball whistle in his ear until he had to hang up...now, whistles are a great way to get undesirables to hang up, but the best way to get at them is to call YOUR states attorney general....they will then give you the number of the state attorney general that the harassing company is in...you can then report them....

I receive calls from this number almost daily.  I don't answer.  The script is always the same, but with different people calling.  Messages go something like this:  "This is ___  ___ calling for ___  ___.  This call is being recorded.  Hello?  Hello?  Hello?  Hello?  Nobody answers.  I'll call back another time."

I keep getting this number calling my phone....no one leaves a message or says anything.   want it to STOP

They call same time every morning about 8:20 I answer but no one is ever there. Can't even ask them to stop calling.

This number calls me atleast twice a day, they always say "this call is being recorded" and I always hang up. I am not delinquent on any debts, this is beyond annoying.

From my understanding, the rules there are the same as the rules here:  Debt Collectors are  exempt from the do not call list.  Some of them keep internal DNC lists but they are not required to.  However, they are not allowed to call your cell phone unless you gave it to the original creditor as a contact number.  And if they do call your cell, they have to stop if you tell them too.  Of course you can always send them a C&D letter but that's tricky because you have to leave them one option for communication.  Usually that's snail mail.

Why are you assuming that polly harris is this person's real name?  Oh that's right, you assume; the first three letters of which are "a_s_s"

This debt collection agency has called me 4 times in 3 days.  This morning I answered and agent asked for 'Terry Frye' (sp?) (who I've never heard of). I asked the asked the agent what state she was calling, and she responded she didn't have that information  (!!!--Hel-low!).

I received a call from this number this morning @ 8:25am of course they didn't leave a message, Have gotten calls from them several times in the morning. Comes up on my caller #ID as their phone number doesn't give a name.

I just got the same kind of call this morning. They asked for me, I told her that was me & asked what the call was about, she said it was personal but she couldn't give me any info she would have to transfer my call. So I hung up. But usually I don't get any answer when this # calls so I just hang up. But the woman that answered today could barely speak English, I had to ask her to repeat what she said a few times. Sounds like a scam from another country to me.

We get these calls probably daily! I have no way knowing if they are legit or not. I hate unknown source, phone calls.!  Caller: 877-313-3730

These people are calling my relatives! Could not understand how they got my sisters number. Just found out ATT sells them numbers that you call frequently. Thanks ATT for the "good" service. Now they'll want us to pay $5.99 a month to block the calls!!!

Ba careful they are probably scammers, they call many numbers until they found someone that owes something then they charge and steal your money.

They call me to my Magicjack, maybe trying to contact a previous number owner. BE CAREFUL they are a bunch of delinquents DON'T believe what they say.

@Smarten Up...   Did you ever think that perhaps Polly Harris is her "fun catchy handle" instead of her actual name? Lighten up. Her real might actually be George.  

And I thought I was the only one! This number calls at random times of the day but mostly in the morning when I'm sleeping! They have been for at least a month. I never pick up the phone but it is annoying. I think I'm gonna use that Attorney General's office get up from One Smart Cookie next time they call though. Anything to make them stop.
