call came into my job as smyrna police and left message with my co-worker to call them. I know its just another one of those rip off collection services who try to make you send in money to them. Its always some indian person with a nasty attitude. They gave a different number to call other than the one on the caller id which was 888-828-5112

I received a message from 888-828-5112 from a person name Josie Gordon.  She says that she is calling from the legal dept and needs for me to call her back or there will be legal action taken.  I need to call her back to make payment arrangements.

I rec'd a call from a person named Jossy with a very strong accent, she indicated that I needed to call United Services, she didn't say what it was about, I didn't call back at 888-828-5112.

Wow, they got me.  They sound so convincing and had all of my information. I was scared right out of my money.

In February 2009 a person using this number called each of my parents to intimidate and threaten them. It is believed that they are a pay-day lender or the collections agency representing a payday lender.

The caller falsely stated that each parent was a "co-signer" on the loan (they were references only), threatened to file "fraud" charges, and claimed that he was going to call the county sheriff to arrest me.

I'm attempting to find out which state they're from in order to file a complaint with their state's Attorney General.
