The company name is Central Portfolio Control. They are from Minnesota, but also have an office in Phoenix, AZ. These callers are bill collectors, make sure that they let you know that this in an attempt to collect a debt and that the call may be monitored or report them for FDCPA violations. They have a habit of forgetting to say that.

i used worked for them. They do have a attorney on staff Lisa Haster and they due sue people that much i do know. Only worked there for 2 months before moving.

They are sueing me. I got a letter from the haster law office and was just served to appear in court. Im goona get a judgement against me and they will gaarnish my wages. I read up about it they can take up 30%. I didnt think they could garnish me in my state but the only states where is cant happen are Texas, North Carolina, Pennsylvania. wow unbelivable, I did get a letter in the mail as well showing the court date. Well ill just have to quit my job. they wont find me at my next job, but my friend said if i start a new job i have to put on there my social security number, so they will find me. this sucks cause i like my job and in this eceonomy it might be hard to find a job.
