"Jennifer Adams" identified herself as a process identifier? Ms. Adams wanted to know whom should she speak with regards to a proceeding against one of our employees. She used his name. She was rude and abusive .(888) 836-3544, Did not identify her company.

To Karen - this is exactly what happened to me today..........members of my family were called, and threatened to alert me that "if this matter isn't handled, I will be facing criminal charges"...........they also left a message on my home phone, stating that a Jennifer Adams was a Process Server, and that since I was not home to receive the call, her message would be serving as "notice of these proceedings" - WHAT proceedings??? She stated that I could call them at the number provided, (888) 836-3544, to speak with someone as to who the plaintiff in these charges was, as well as what the case pertains to; I am also in the legal field, and know that a summons/complaint would be directly filed/served in person/mail if there were indeed some criminal charge I was guilty of.
I will be calling the number tomorrow to get some info, and I will also be filing a report with the State Attorney General's Office - I was a victim of ID theft some years ago, and have a police report to provide as supporting documentation that any 'bogus' charges are not mine.

They did the same thing to me. I actually have been dealing with the FBI in regards to this matter, and yet they still continue to harrass me. This is a complete fraud and people are buying into it and paying people thinking that if they don't they will be "thrown" in jail.

Someone posing as a "Private Investigator" called me on 4/23/12 telling me that I owe a substantial amount of money to a Financial Institution and that he was calling to see if I wanted to handle it before he sends a process server to my house to serve me.
When I asked him who the financial institution was, he said I needed to call 888-836-3544 and they would be able to discuss it with me. Immediately, a red flag went up. I am in the criminal justice field and in the first place, if you are going to be served, it is going to be by a U.S. Marshall not a process server and the Private Investigator would have all of the information in front of them! This is a scam!
On Saturday, April 28th, someone called my elderly mother at 9:00 am to tell her that they were a Private Investigator and that if I wasn't going to take care of the claim by the Financial Institution, they would be sending out a process server!
They broke the #1 cardinal rule of any debt collector by giving a 3rd party account information!! They also gave my mother the same telephone number as above, 888-836-3544. I have the State Attorney General's telephone number and if these people contact me again I will be ready to turn them over to the Attorney General as I did in January of this year when they tried the same thing!
