I got a a call from 3 different 888- numbers in the past few days, the latest one being from the number reported here (just a few minutes ago). The funny thing is, I am just visiting the States (got some prepaid phone card a month ago), so whatever debt they might be asking me to pay, is fake :) I didn't answer the calls as the phone company will charge me 10 cents/min, but i found this awesome site to report these numbers. The other 2 numbers are: 888-851-2304 and 888-649-9023. To those who read this post, please pay attention to who you supply your personal info, these calls are nothing but scams :(

received a call then a lady but she wouldn't give her name and told me she knew nothing about the call and I had to wait for my litagator to get off the phone to talk to him. I then told her since she knew nothing to take me off of her calling list she then said she was not allowed to do that and I told her by law she has to. and then I asked her for her company's name and address which she did give to me but the company name she gave to me for this phone number was GMA law offices and address is in orlando fl....not sure if its a scam but it sure seems like it.....ask for any documents proving the debt before giving any payment info

they called and claimed to be Kashmoore & Assoc and the womans name was Linda Smith - no ID to protect herself.  left the number 888-840-0866 and reference number for my child who died almost ten years ago at the age of 3 - what a scam - I laughed but did give her the cemetery address so they could send someone out to arrest him.  What a sick bunch of scammers - they should be caught and put away.

These people have been harassing my family! They identify as "cashmore" associates and claim to be a third party that cannot give any information. The first call came from phone number 320-164-7558 and gave me the number 888-840-0866 to call back with a reference number. These same calls came into us about 6 months ago on a "personal loan" but they stopped when we threatened them with the FBI. Now they started calling again with a different story. Don't fall for this scam!! These people are fake and they are scammers!

Was called by my youngest brother in reference to an overdue credit card, that doesn't exist. The individual left him a phone number and case number, so I called and was asked for my bank account information to set up payments and I was threatened to be taken to court by a "Federal Trade & Commerce Agency" or something like that. Almost made payment so they wouldn't bother my family members; as my Temporal Lobe Epilepsy puts strain on my family as it is. The name of the company given to me is: Feldman Meed & Associates located in Florida; as told to me by "Tom Davis". The name of the individual I spoke with is "Tom Davis". If anyone knows the address of this "association" please post it; as, my work with combat veterans in the past has given me a unique group of friends. I would like to take this opportunity to let the combat vet.s who may read this that I'm a military brat who's doors are always open to those who serve and sacrifice; as well as, thanking those who taught me patience and the indirect way of extracting information (I listened and applied). Thank you for your time and consideration. (The operator spelled the company name as Feldon Meed & Associates when I called them back [in reference to wanting me to set up a bank account to make payments] and laughed; just remembered that part. My 2 seizures a day make me a little slow. Address of the origin concerning these phone calls would be much appreciated.)
