Mediacom in my area are the worse...call all day about nothing....i called about an outage a week ago and today a rep shows up at the house saying "you called"...ummm it was fixed the same day,....cable always blinking....just idiots..

Mediacom has called me 3 times to verify an appointment for service. I have not had any trouble with the TV side of the business but have a lot of trouble with the internet. at least 2 times a year I get tired of unhooking the modem and shorting the cable leads to remove the "noise" from the line. They have redone everything in my house twice but refuse to fix anything that might be wrong in their trunk line. I put up with it because dial up is my only other option and the phone lines here are so old that there are problems with dial up. Mediacom is also way over priced!

Hmmm? you all must live in a region with lousy tech support for Mediacom. All except for a 3 month period when I "tried" Direct TV I've been with Mediacom for over twenty years and have never had a problem. Direct TV was a headache from the very first day, lot of hidden fee's & charges too, plus every time it rained I would lose reception. They told me it was because my dish needed to be fine tuned, after 3 calls somebody finally came out but nothing changed, so back to Mediacom I went and also signed up for their internet service as well, no problems at all. This sat. their coming out and hooking up my phone service too.

mediacom is the worst i mean WORST cable company there is. they are terrible from customer service to billing and sales. i have had 4 agents in one night that can not seem to "understand" how to turn my cable boxes back on when they should have never been turned off in the 1st place, maybe if they hired someone who has broken or well english rather than someone who cant even speak english answering their phones. PAIN IN THE REAR!!

I have received phone calls from this number a few times and the leave a message for someone who is clearly not me. They threaten the person they leave messages for and say they have a social security number of that person. STOP CALLING ME

Missed the call, but would make sense that it was mediacom. I just left them for DirecTv but it was cheaper to keep basic with cable modem then cancel all services so they are supposed to go do some service reduction stuff.

This automated service by Mediacom is so very broken. You can either:
Press 1 to confirm that your problem is solved
Press 2 to confirm your service appointment
You can do either, and you'll be called every day for a couple of weeks. Maybe they shouldn't have outsourced their IT department.
