I got a text message from this number saying my credit union account was blocked due to unusual activity.  I figured it was a scam but called back from my home phone to see who answered, and to tell them to, well, I have to watch my language!  It rang for a while then a message came on that said, "Lines are temporarily busy, please try again later."

Got this message too. It is an obvious text based phishing scam! Watch Out!!

I got the text today and called my bank they said my account had not been frozen. Good thing i did not enter my 16 digit account number. I wonder what all that was about

Message C.U account is frozen please call at (888)666-9135. I called because I don't have any bank accounts or credit cards at all! There is a recording of a computer female voice asked for 16 digit debit card number and three additional pieces of personal info. I entered a random 16 digits and the machine says that it is not a valid debit card number. Just trying to get to talk to an operator so I could remove my cell number from that list. Good like. It's the missed car payment "gonna repo" scam all over again....

same as above - knew it was scam because 1- t-mobile mis-speled; 2- I don't have a credit union account!  Thanks to all who have posted

looked online at all the contact numbers for my credit union, none of them matched, so google searched the number and landed on this page.  i never called them at all because i don't believe anything of that nature... don't know what they would have said, but i know that's not how my credit union handles business.  besides, i knew there'd been no unusual activity.

I got a text message from number 3501 saying that I needed to call 888-855-5145 about my bank acct and I called my bank and it was'nt them .

Same as above, received a text saying my account was frozen; called my bank, and they said they had no idea, and to be careful.

be careful this number tried to say that my bank account is frozen and to call them back. Thye first sent it as a text message. I called and verified through my bank and it was not true.
