I just got called by them, but I got you guys beat. They told me I won either $25,000 in cash or a $25,000 shopping spree at a local mall. I was going to call back for entertainment, but maybe not.

Got the same message from Jessica.  Glad I checked it out first but so disappointed I didn't actually win  a $25,000 home makeover!

Call from National Verfication Center.  My  names was drawn from a submission for a $25,000 home makeover.  Julie called me.  When I called back, I would not give my name and they said Julie was gone and to call tomorrow.

This place called me Affordable global vacation after being told it was no cost to me at all I figured ok this may be legit well we get to the end of the time when I get my confirmation code & my spouse & I have to be present.... & I gave my spouses name the gentlemen (manager) then went on to tell me he'd have to call me back because we are a gay married couple.... I'm gonna report these people I got and address but the number was a blocked number.. I doubt I get a call back which is fine I got better things to do with my time.. BEWARE I DONT BELIVE THIS IS LEGIT & IM PRETTY SURE THEY SCAMM YOU SOMEHOW!!

Same call, same message, same phone number and extension. I find it amusing that they can't even specify HOW you entered the "contest," just that you filled out an entry at one of their many locations. Maybe a shopping mall! Gimme a break.

i got the same call i checked here first for information regarding this phone call and company found out it was fake so i used my novelty telemarketer reply machine and called them back its just a bunch of phrases saying f u c k you and different insults i love it they said thank you for that so i said  F u ck off dont call me :D hahaha

Everyone gets the so-called vacation. It's hardly free, there are many fees and restictions, you wind up paying more money without getting any actual benefit. This is the injury that is added to the insult of the hard-sell "seminar".

Know your scams. This one has been going on for years, but somehow there seems to be a nearly endless supply of suckers eagerly seeking the elusive something-for-nothing deal!

Has anyone actually went to one of these to see if you win 1 of the 4 prizes? I understand you may have to sit through a seminar of some kind, but if you do and just say no, do you still get an opportunity to claim and prize most likely the 32" TV and leave? There were a couple comments made that someone might check it out and I'm wondering if anyone actually did?

got the same call but when i called back again katie was in a meeting. so Kyle looked my entry up. the only thing he ask for was my name then said that my contest ended lastnight  and hung up on me. when i tryed to call back he hung back up.so be aware THIS IS A SCAM i wish i would of never gave him my name. i should of looked it up like i normal do. sham on me.

I got the same call from Sarah. Since my internet is down at home and I use Vonage, it sent me an email with the text of the call. I immediately called the return number (first using *67 so they can't trace my number), and the man who answered who had a very deep voice said that Sarah was at the event site and could he take my name and number and look up my prize info. I hung up, then googled the number and found this site. I'm on the Do Not Call registry and will be filing a complaint with the FTC.

Got the same call. Knew it was a lure from the get go as we never fill out these kinds of things. Yeah, I'd remember if I had entered a contest. They called before and when I said I hadn't entered anything the caller promptly hung up..surprise, surprise

Received a call yesterday from Sarah. Caller ID lists 1-888-323-5162. Left same message as Orlando FL above. Thankful for the warnings in this listing.  Wish these scammers could be stopped. In the meantime we have to exercise extreme caution.  BTW. Sarah said to call her at 888-878-4252 ext 221.   Different names, different numbers, probably the same crooks.

A lot of scam businesses are still in business, just because you are still operating does not make it any less of a scam.

Exact same call, same message to the word as others have reported.  This time Katie's calling the Orlando, FL area (like so many others my number is on the Do Not Call List, like that seems to make any difference at all).  For a fraction of a second I was wondering because I did enter a contest for a Ford vehicle at the Orlando Auto Show back at the end of November...  But, since the message sounded way too fake I knew better than to fall for it and the 16 pages of people getting the same scam message just proved it.

Same call here a few hours ago.  Katie must be a computer triggered to leave a recorded message if an answering machine picks up...

Katie just called today (02/23/2012 at 12:26 pm CST); said that my name was drawn last night for a Ford SVU.  Guess what - I'm not falling into that trap!  BEWARE!

Had this message on our machine last night; and, we knew we had never filled out an entry form...those things are always just a way to gather contacts for a business, so we never fill out the forms.  Anyway, the message was exactly the same as the one some noted in November 2011:

HI MY NAME IS ???? CALLING FROM THE NATIONAL VERIFICATION CENTER IN REGARDS TO AN ENTRY FORM YOU FILLED OUT TO WIN A 2012 FORD SUV HYBRID TRUCK AT ONE OF OUR SHOPPING MALLS, MOVIE THEATERS, OR ONLINE WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS. I HAVE SOME VERY GOOD NEWS FOR YOU. YOUR NAME WAS PULLED LAST NIGHT. SO GIVE ME A CALL BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. MY NUMBER IS 888 861 3730 AND THAT'S EXT 221

I got the same call from Katie, using the exact same script.  Sounds like a scam to me.  Thanks for the warning.  PS - I am also on the Do Not Cal registry, but they got my number somehow anyway.

Same katie scam sounding so excited you'v won hybrid truck asking you to call back.  Then when you ask for extension 221 it takes them for ever to come to phone.  then anthony gets on and asked if i filled out sweepstakes lately i said dont know i said were would this been filled out he said mall or movie.  He said with the same spill what you supposed to have won can you come do your scratch off i said dont know call you back.  They need to be caught bought this scamand scrath them off.
