Yep, it is Staples. They called to let me know that my order will arrive tomorrow, a day late. It's OK. Nice of them to let me know.

Got a call this evening & listened to the message but it is just garbled and can't understand it. Others have stated this is Staples calling about a missed delivery, but I have not ordered from them and have never ordered from them. In fact, I am not expecting a delivery from any company and I have not shopped at Staples in years. Probably one of those annoying telemarketers calling to tell me I have won a cruise...

Automated Lesbian Robotic voice from Staples saying my order will be here tomorrow vs. today.   Why I love Amazon better they never f- up like this.

Just got a call from this number - it's still not identified as Staples in the caller ID.  I ordered a chair from them last week, and delivery was promised yesterday.  When it didn't show up, I went online to review my order - nothing but a blank page - no tracking number, no order details, nothing. Tried their "live chat" option on their website - after 10 minutes of hold time, the rep said someone would be in touch - no other help offered.  Went on Twitter to express my displeasure, and tagged Staples in the comment - THAT got a response. I got this call this morning to state my order was delayed and would be delivered today.  I live 20 miles from a Staples store - for all this hassle, I could have just drove there and picked up the stupid chair.....and used a gift card to purchase it as well, which you can't do online.

This is the second day in a row that I received a call (late in the day) letting me know my order
delivery was delayed again! I placed my order online. This has been a very frustrating experience.

I noticed some of these messages date from 2008...its now 2012...so nothings improved then.  Everytime I place an online order its delayed and then if my delivery falls after 5pm, the delivery guys don't work past 5 and its delayed another day.

They called to tell me that my delivery was rescheduled because guy couldn't deliver my package?

Evidently he doesn't know how to get buzzed into a secured building.

Staples need to identify themselves instead of Caller ID saying Toll Free Call.

Staples telling me they "inadvertently sent my printer to the wrong address, and it will be delayed one day". WTF?!? Why can't they just tell the truth and say it's coming tomorrow? If the delivery thing is true...and everyone gets this story...some delivery people need to be fired. What idiots.

I haven't called these M F'ers back. If they are Staples, as others have stated, I'd like to know why the hell they are calling me.

I haven't purchased anything from Staples in years, and I've NEVER ordered anything that would be sent to my home.

I'm on a National and State level Do Not Call List; it would be nice if it was actually enforced. I've reported it.

Like everyone else, yes, this is staples. Another phone number associated with this is the phone call you get the day before from (902) 869-3100. That's even more interesting than the cryptic 888 call phone msg left because 902 is Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Canada, which I guess is Staples outsourcing their calls. Yeah, same as everyone else. these are Staples calling to let you know their driver couldn't get in or that you missed the delivery guy. I say the 888 call is cryptic it's one of those annoying messages where a machine leaves a message and says "If (your first name) is there, press 1" etc (while you're playing back your message, so it SEEMS like a prank. It's just Staples being stupid and not thinking like a customer.

Staples.  I missed the truck.  They gotta come back tomorrow.

Staple's for sure.  I order something and it was a recorded message saying delivery would be delayed for 1 day, which is no big deal.
