Almost always calls at 9:40 a.m. It is an auto-dialed number. I hang up before a person actually picks up their end of the line. Never leaves a message if I don't answer.

yeah, i suddenly started getting calls from this number and they call me almost every day. When I pick up, there is no one on the other side. And if I just wait, they eventually hang up. It's quite annoying. I'm on the National Do Not Call List but I guess it doesn't help.

Actually, I finally took a risk and called back the 8888644455 number. It was Allied Auto Insurance!!!! They said that my renewal date is coming up! What is wrong with them???? If they want to tell me about it, they shoudl have left a message! They shoudln't bother people by calling every day and say nothing and leave no messages.
