These people are killing me!  They call all the time, and even when I claim to be the person they want, I still can't get through.  What can I do???

They keep calling our company number and fax,,,they need to be stopped

The call came at 8:10am...too early for any call to a home.  I called the number,and after about 12 rings was answered by RPM (Receivable Performance Management), a collection agency. Evidently they put you on their call list if your name sounds or remotely looks like a person they are seeking.

Keep getting calls from this number for someone we don't know, but have the same last name.  When we call back, we get a recording that the number has been disconnected and no longer in service, yet, it is the same number on the caller ID.

RPM has been calling me since October, Sprint sent my cell phone bill to them and RPM gave me a "hardship" and lowered my bill but never sent any information to Sprint.  My bill has been cleared since late November but I keep getting calls, one time they said they had no information about me and the next time they knew everything about me.  Another number for them is 425-354-1554, I have told them to stop calling me when they called from this number and even faxed them info showing my paid bill and then they started calling from the 888-865-2859 number.  I get them every other day.

I found this on another website and got them to stop calling me by telling them to remove my number:

"Update - The number has been traced to Receivable Performance Management in Bothell, WA ( a collection agency). Call them at 866-212-7408 and have them take your number off their list. Hope that helps."

I received a call from them, too, and didn't have any idea about what it was.  They kept asking me my name and I refused to tell them until they told me who they were.  Finally, the agent on the phone told me to "grow up" and hung up on me.  I traced them back and reached up in the org to their Director of Operations, Robert (Bob) Polus.  His direct # is (425) 984-6249.  rpolus@receivablesperformance.com.  Good luck, everyone.

i am pretty sure this is a scam they wanted payment over the phone and refused to give thier address or to send letter with information on the alleged debt

They actually told me to "have a blessed day".  What a joke...I'm reporting them to my state AG.

I get these collector calls since the day I get the current cell number I have a year and half ago.  Also, this number is not the only number I get from the collectors, there are others numbers.  Even last year, a school prinical called regarding his student missing from class, too.  On my greeting on my cell phone is clearly stated my whole name. What should I do to stop those calls?

Call the PUC and file a complaint. those idiot called me too and yelled at me and hung up because i couldn't understand what they said. Loosers with no life.

We started receiving calls from this number for a non-existent person and are having the same problems getting our number removed as the above people.  When I tried to call the 866 212 7408 number (as suggested above) I got a "this number is not in service" message.
Our company is already on the do not call list so I will file a complaint with them.

I started receiving a call from this number a couple of weeks ago. I assume it is a scam, however if I remotely did somehow owe them any money then I expect not only a real person to call me but at least leave me a message with an explanation and number I can call back!!!!!  I will try the number PJ posted and see what happens.  Glad to see I am not the only one experiencing this problem and that there is a posting to help!

this number called me about an "apparent" old bill at an address I never lived at.  When I questioned the guy about it ,he threatened to sue me and to take my house unless I gave him my Credit Card number. I asked for his name and the name of his company and he began yelling threats at me.  

When I refused to give him this information and asked to speak to a manager he "pretended" to not speak english.  Then hung up on me.

I called Verizon and these calls are from the company listed above.  Be aware though, Verizon has no record of me owing them money.

i am getting call everyday

We just got a cell phone for my elderly dad--just recuperating from open heart surgery--as soon as we got it home we started getting these calls. We don't feel we can even give it to him when it rings every few hours. Plus, we're losing cell minutes.

This number calls every day about the same time 10:45 EDT but it has called at night.

THANK YOU!  This number did work. I spoke to an actual person who spoke English.  This took less than 3 minutes to take care of.  Hopefully these extremly annoying phone calls will stop.

File a police report and then contact the attorney general's office. This company is annoying.

I just got a call a few minutes ago. I keep my phone ringer turned off all the time, because lots of collection agencies call all the time for all sorts of people I have never known. Various agencies call so often, that about 10% of the time when I pick up my receiver to make a phone call, one of these agencies is already on the line. So, as I picked up my phone to make an outbound call, I found a message playing, telling me if I am Yacatu Reni, press 1, otherwise press 2. I pressed 2, and the machine told me to have Yacatu Reni call 1-888-865-2859, reference number 9425426. I called the number and was connected to a fax machine. I tried 3 more times, each time connecting to a fax machine.

my folks got a call from this number about me, i havent lived with them for 20 years, i called the number back a few times today and got nothing but a fax tone

Just got a call. Looking for the person we bought the house from 3 years ago. They left owing bills so thought might be that.

Called I let the machine pick it up. I have just filed a complaint with do not call .gov. It is a scam.

We have gotten about 10 calls this week for a "Kevin Davis" who does not live at this number. When I press 2, the option to press if you are *not* Kevin Davis, I get told to call 1- 888-865-2859.  Re: # 9680527.  I am afraid to call the number lest it be a scam. We have no idea who Kevin Davis is. But today the phone call even woke my husband  up it was so early. We are not happy about this.
