I work there also. Were a third party vendor comcast hired to upsell to existing & non-existing customers. It is definitely not a scam. We must say "on behalf of comcast" because that is what comcast requires us to say.

I work for a bank and today a customer came in saying that she got a call from this #. The man on the other end said he was a verifcation officer with 'customer protection services'. He said he was trying to verify if a purchase was indeed hers. He had her routing # and account # like she was reading off one of her checks. Our bank does not utilize a service like this, so I am sure it is a scam and that they were going to charge the customer. The alleged check was a 9000 level check and he claimed it was from a cell phone company for $394. It has to be a SCAM

I wrk there and we are calling for comcast but it goes to the voice thing bc we do out bound calls to talk to us call comcast

It is definitely what everyone is saying above. I called it back and pressed 2.. It didn't do anything. So I called back and pressed 1, it asked for my number. Once I entered it, it said thank you, and hung up

Robyn nailed it - TLK Group on behalf of Comcast.  Seems REAL sketchy...  I wonder what happens when you press "2"

I called the # back and a recording said TLK Group on behalf of Comcast.You are then given the option to press 1 to be placed on their do not call list, or 2 I guess to talk to somebody.
