I believe this is the same company that first tried to collect $400 for a bogus Sprint bill (that I had cancelled and paid in full almost 3 months earlier) then upped it to nearly $900 the next month. They seemed to have plenty of identifying info on me but when asked for specific information about the Sprint account they could no longer access my account and would "transfer me to a customer service representative". I was on hold for about 20 minutes then someone just picked up and hung up on me. Be very careful when taking calls from these people.

2 calls within an hour from these jerks despite the fact that I told them the first time that the person they are seeking is not at this number. It comes up with "No Data" on the caller ID, but the firm is Eskanos & Adler of Concord, CA. Their direct number is. I'll be filing an FTC complaint against them, and suggest that anyone else getting harassed by them do the same.

I keep getting phone calls from this number at my job. I do not answer either. I think it is a bill collector and they are not supposed to hunt you down at your job,isn't that illegal?

I live overseas and have received about 10 calls a day from them for months now. I've called them back, listened to the voice messages, NOTHING. I can't get anywhere with them! The number shows up as: - Michigan Caller I just turn my ringer off because they call during the day in the USA, which is the middle of the night here.

This number calls my cell phone, if I dont answer and try to call it back it hangs up on the first ring.

I received a call from and they asked for me, but used my former married name that i have not used in YEARS since i went back to my maiden name after the divorce. this is the first call in over 7 years that someone has asked for me by that name! must be something fishy.

Call from Hugh Jenner with County Research Corp. Debt reduction plan, rates are going up. Call immediately. this call was placed to a company after hours phone line to a help desk number.

I keep getting calls from a John Shea possibly Shaw stating that I have an outstanding balance on a Bank of America card and when I asked him exactly what he was going to do..he put me on hold! Then told me he had to call me back later because he had another call to attend to! What kind of crap is that? Now he calls and I don't answer but I guess he finally figured out what to say or something!

I get called by this person claiming to collect a date multiple times every day. I do not owe money. We are on the "no call" list.

Can anything be done?? They refused to give out any kind of tax ID number. Wouldn't give me to there corporate offices either. Said the phone calls would keep continuing to come

ERMI has been calling for months for an individual that we have never heard. We have had our number for four years. We repeatedly have informed them of this fact but to no avail. We used to get angry, now it is more enjoyable to taunt them with the reality by harassing us, they are not getting paid or collecting debt.

If I pick up the phone, I get a recording, "Please hold for a very important message - all our agents a currently unavailable".

I just checked the company that owns ERMI (Convergys CVX)stock quote. Since they starting calling me, there stock has gone from 27 to 17. Its interesting that they call me repeatedly despite my honest pleas that I have never heard of the person they are after wasting resources and affecting the bottom line. Maybe a management change is needed.

They call at least 5 to 6 times a day. Its a computer looking to see when you answer the phone.. They also call at work 5 times a day.. Hoping to make you mad and pay them to get rid of them.. Only they dont know your not paying casue you just dont have the money..

Call came in at 7:35 p.m. last evening. Caller was looking for someone that did not live here. I stated that I didn't know who they were and that party would did not live here. Then the follow-up dumb question was, "well, do you know where he can be reached?" I said, "I just told you that person didn't live here, why in the hell would you think I'd know where he was now? Duh!"

I get a call from Kevin Fields @ almost daily telling me to call right back. Though they have never asked for ME BY NAME or refrenced anything that might give me a clue that the call is even FOR ME, it's RUDE.

Dear "Not a credit risk"; Sometimes things are not as black and white as you seem to think they are. There are often circumstances which arise and are not planned, such as an illness in the family or loss of employment. Please don't pretend to suggest that your poop doesn't stink, as I'm sure it does. Sometimes good people have bad luck and/or make bad decisions but they are still good people. The view from your high horse must prevent you from being able to see this.

This is exactly the same thing that is happeing with my mother.

These people hang up as soon as someone answers. They have NEVER asked for anyone and today, after about 60 calls in the last month, there was some sort of recording when I answered. It was too fast, I have no idea what it said. This evening I got mine, and my husbands credit reports, jut to make sure we didn't overlook something and it was in collections and our credit is clear..so as far as I know these people have no business calling me. There has got to be a way to make it stop.
