I kept getting calls from this number too. I was hoping it was one of those weird calls with the Spanish speaking lady so I can play some kind of prank on her on the receiving end, but it wasn't.  Finally, I just answered and it was automated. It is from Edison and you can opt out by listening to the prompts. Press 3 and then 6.

you may consider them a waist of money but at least you have the money to waist. this leg of SCE actually assists those who are in need of a helping hand and assist some in keeping the lights on and thier home heated. So i would suggest you have your ducks in a row before criticizing something you know nothing about. And yes you should be thanking Obama for more then you know!

I called the "Southern Cal Edison Energy Efficiency Program" (Googled their site for the verified phone number's office 800-736-4777) and spoke to a live person.  He verified that 888-882-9139 is with Southern Cal Edison.  

Well people, these worthless robo survey calls are the result of a vast array of "Green" jobs that our glorious President Obama had created to stop global warming.  ...thanks for the aggravation, the endless nagging and the total waste of our money!

they are calling early morning every day and not leaving message!

Just received a call from this number thanks for the info

Received a call from this number requesting someone to authorize actions on SCE account.

Calls started a few days ago, calling 3 times a day and does not leave a message.  Woke me from a sound sleep this morning!!!

Call from 888-882-9139 several times the past few days. Calls just started this past Saturday. They never leave a message.

I got this call too. They left a message saying it was Souther Cal Edison regarding energy efficiant program. I called back from the phone where the message was left and the system tells me that I'm calling from a number that that the message was not left on. It ask me to punch in the number where the message was left, I did and the message just repeats. I stop so I don't know if this is really So cal Edison.

twice a day calls. ID says VoIP Call.

rcvd several calls from 888-882-9139. Caller never left a message. i called back to find out this was Southern California Edison , energy management assistance program, and the returned call ended up being an automated survey to enroll .... nice .
