Medical collection agency.

I have gotten calls from this number too. I do not answer 'private' callers.

Once a week for about a year this recorded message comes thru on a trunk line on our phone system.   We have no idea who they ar trying to reach, and they can't tell us without us giving our information.  If they are going to take us collections or shut us of, please do so already LOL

I get calls from this number several times each day.  Am unable to block the number due to the caller ID only shows the number one.  I certainly do no inted to call them for any reason.  How can their ID number only show the number 1...this is first having that happen.  They are phone harassers.  Now finding many companies have learned to bi pass the do not call listings.   GRRRRR...another annoying subject

we get automated calls from 888-889-0754 on a regular basis.  this number takes you a collection agency in Richardson, Texas that specializes in medical recovery.  I had heart problems 11/23/2011, a two day stay in the hospital. we got our first invoice for the event on July 25, 2012.
Suddenly my account was PAST DUE. I contacted the hospital and made arrangements to pay in a timely fashion.  I was advised that all charges were placed in one account for easy tracking.  As of this post  we are actually payments ahead.  The hospital can not explain  why a collection agency is calling me.

add me to the list although 5 minutes before i got a call from 626-207-7309 (pasadena, CA area) im in TX. then got a call from UNKNOWN and an automated message left 888-889-0754. i think its a medical collection agency. wife owed $$ and they call sporadically

If this is a medical collections agency, then most likely it is something that is so old that you can't remember and has NOTHING to do with the Dr. office or hospital.  They sell the debt to collection companies, so by paying this company you DO NOTHING TO HELP YOUR CREDIT.  They do not report the debt paid to the credit companies.  Do not give them your information!

Get calls from this number often. No debt owed, it is a medical collection number. Similar name to mine, so they must be looking up the phone numbers of names they don't have numbers for or if numbers from their records changed.

Annoying.

Ahhh. I love having a phone number of someone who previously owed a lot of debt.(NOT) Calls day/night for Sherry Llewellyn. Luckily I can blacklist the calls, but I then get vm's left instead.

Received a call from "Unknown" but they left this number 888-889-0754 for callback. No way am I calling back to explain I'm not her for the umpteenth time.

Have received 2 phone calls and 1 letter. Gayle was rude when I called to ask questions about this account and why it had been forwarded to collections.

It's a phishing scam.  Do not call them back or give them any information.

Automated message says "Important Personal Business" and then said to call the number 1-888-889-0754.  When I called it back the guy that answered didn't say what the name of the company was.  I think he said "business office".  I thought I paid off my doctor bills, but according to other people getting this call, it's about unpaid medical bills.

I've received calls from this same number. They never say who they are calling or what company they are calling from. Sounds like a scam to me.

Medical Collection Service?  If that's true, why not call my land line? You know the one that I've given out to my physicians for eons.  I have no unpaid medical bills. They called my new cell phone and left a message.

Medical/Doctor Collection Agency.  If their employees would submit the insurance information correctly in the first place, they would not have to have a collections agency to pay!

I spoke to a monica who would not tell me what the call was in regards to, but wanted my DOB & social security number.  When I told her I would not give out personal information without knowing where it was going she became rude!  If I have any outstanding bills, I would pay...but I sure am not going to give out personal information to some random person.

I'm always getting the same automated "important business call" vm. As of May 5th, I signed up for the do not call list..but since no one calls..just an automated vm...then it's still not picking up not to call...does anyone have any suggestions?

got a call from them at my place of employment - didn't bother to say what company they were calling from --- just left a name and a number to call back -- not gonna happen -- if they can't tell me what company they're calling from then I don't need to call them back.....ladies name was mrs. evans and her extension is 5360.  am in the process of paying off a large medical bill and they're looking for $50, which was turned over because i was late -- i "owe" the money to the hospital - not the collection agency.....

Same message every week for a month. I was hoping they'd stop after a while, since I don't respond to automated messages that give no information and don't say who they're looking for. Ironically, it was right after I paid off my biggest medical bill and activated a new phone that they started calling...I just paid the rest of my bills in full. If they call again I'm calling back and yelling at someone.

AMEN TO THAT!!!! I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT TO MY DAUGHTER THAT IF THEY ARE UNKNOWN NOTHING GOOD CAN COME OUT OF IT...JUST MEANS THEY ARE TRYING TO GET SOMETHING...AND AN AUTOMATED MESSAGE...PLEASE!!!

Same call message from this number received in Hurst, Tx.
I NEVER return unsolicited calls, NO MATTER what the source is if THEY don't identify themselves.
I am not as crazy as THEY are for expecting me to!!!

Got the call today at 6:13pm on the 31st of March. Called back and "office closed" We haven't been to a doctor in over 2 years and that was paid at the time of the visit. Ridiculous...

Received the call from them today, 1/23/08.  I informed them they had contacted a business and that they are no longer to contact this business.  The annoying woman on the phone said that they could contact us if that is the phone number given.  I informed her that it is now illegal to contact this business as we do not approve of such calls coming into our business line.  She eventually backed off.  

These guys are scum bags and though I understand they are trying to track down debtors, I think they should find more logical methods than contacting businesses.  If the call here again I will urge our legal council to file paperwork against them.
