Same name same text convo

I got a text from this number.. Had a long text conversation . I had hunch it felt like a scam so google number then found I wasn't the only one...

He/She/It/Piece of Sh*t text me and said his name was Daniel and wanted to buy my car as a present for his uncle in Spain. Said he wanted to use PayPal or Bank Transfer.

I texted him back, said I googled his number and to never contact me again.

I am also getting text messages from this number. Claims his name is John and works as a marine officer at sea. Wanted to pay for car through bank transfer or paypal. Also claimed it was his first time to buy online....

Craigslist posting for van For Sale resulted in this person contacting me, he gave name of John. He stated he was new to buying online, wanted to buy vehicle for his mother as a b-day gift, he was overseas, and that transaction would go thru Paypal or Bank Transfer. I asked for his info for title transfer info and his bank info for verification.  No further responses from him... SCAMMER

Craigs list scammer.  Same story as everyone else here.

I'm getting text messages from this number to.  Says his name is Steven and want vehicle condition and photos which are already in the posting.  This is my second text from this number. I've asked him to call.

I have a car for sale on Craig's List.  I just relisted it and immediately got a text from this number asking about the condition of the car and if it was still available.  They want to pay by paypal.  For all of you out there reading this - PayPal takes a number of days to clear a payment and would charge substantial fees for a sale of this size.

So glad I immediately looked the number up and found this site. Police can pinpoint where someone is with a cell phone number so my question is why these people are not arrested for scamming people.

I am so grateful that I did some research on this number and found this site! I received several text messages from an individual that claimed he would only purchase my truck through pay-pal. I found it odd that someone local would buy a truck unseen...after reading all these posts, it appears the scammer isn't very good at this game! Seller beware of this number: 925-405-5613.

I received many text messages from this "service member" that didn't add up. He revealed little to no actual identifiable information about himself. He said he wanted to buy my vehicle as a present for his dad and that a shipping company would take care of all the details. He even asked for advice since this was his first time buying over the internet. He hardly ever answered direct questions, and if he was a Navy officer (having been through college) he wouldn't be making all of the grammar errors that he was making. When I asked something like "are you coming to view the vehicle" or "do you want me to make a video so you can see the vehicle and see that it runs" would obviously be answered by someone who was doing this type of transaction. So this is a scam. He just wanted my bank information and full name on the account. I even went so far as to opening a new account with no money in it before I saw this site. Thank you guys for posting about this!

Well not really, same person contacted me when I was trying to sell my Jeep.  Stated he was a Marine officer at sea looking to buy for his father, I asked him what unit he was in and that was the last I heard from him.

same person with the number 925-405-5613 was messaging us about a truck for sale. Said they were at sea and purchasing for dad in U.K. They started asking us strange questions. We ended the conversations.

I was trying to sell something on craigslist, and got a text from 925 405 5613. He/she was interested in the item I was selling and offered to pay through paypal. So I gave my email from paypal and after couple minutes received emails which look like they came from paypal telling me that I got the payment and I should ship the item. So I check the address and it is in Nigeria. Also DID NOT GET ANY MONEY ON MY PAYPAL. THE EMAILS WERE SCAM.
