Getting several calls from 888-890-7876 daily and I am on the do not call list.
Need this to stop.....

lady by the name of lopez (fake name) something about a grant.  har  har.....Told her had no idea who the hell she was and to stop calling my number and hung up.  I am going to change my phone number.  It is the only way now that klee sold my phone list.

This number keeps calling and not saying anything or leaving a message

This F***ing company calls every 2 hours!! EVERY DAY!! I don't know how they got my unlisted number, but this is illegal and harassment, so I'm taking them to small claims court where I'll get $500-$1500 PER call, since I have proof that I've asked them not to call me anymore, and phone records showing each and every time they called. :) so... I'm almost hoping they call a few times tomorrow ;) lol

I got the same call and someone picked up and i told them to stop calling me and he asked me what my number was so I would be taken off the calling list. Hopefully the calls will now stop.

My father got a call from this 888-890-7876 and when he called back the guy was asking him if he wanted to get govt grants.  Sounds fishy....I just completed a grant proposal...its tough.. Most grants are only given to non-profit 501c3 companies...and 2nd no-one gives you money except GW in the incentive rebate.  I'll pass on this one....

Got one too, no name on Caller ID.  Dead air on call back.  My call was then followed about five minutes later by a call from 1-608-299-1479.

Just received another call about 10 minutes ago. I picked up and heard the phone on the other side "hang up". This has been happening for a few months now, often around 4 times a week.

Ditto... Got the same crap today. I think what needs to happen is we all set up autodialers and beat these 800 callers into submission. I think an automated call every 30 seconds to a toll free line would dent thier pocketbooks!

soo, i always get these calls while i'm at school and they really make me mad! It drives me insane! I could definitely get in trouble one of these days if i forget to put my phone on silent! I have no idea why they're calling or how they got my number, obviously, like the others, it is a cell phone. And one time i've answered and, like the others, no one has even said anything? yeah. i don't know but i'm getting pretty dang fed up with this.

Just got my first one!  Wonder if its just a coincidence that I added my number to the DNC list yesterday!  Called it back and it sent me to the Matthew Lesko Vociemail.

I received the same call from the same number.  I told the foreign speaking lady to remove my number from their list.  If they call me again I'll keep them on the line for several minutes and then tell them that I have traced their number and my cousin Bin Laden will give them a visit.

When I call them back I get Matthew Lesko's Company. He is the guy who wears the suit with question marks all over it and tells you how to get free money from the government through grants. Yeah I was interested and bought it. I threw it away a day later when I realized it was a scam.

I wonder how this calling stuff started?

The samething that all of you have been posting.. The calls started about a week or 2 ago, I don't pick up 888, 800 numbers at all but when i haev called back i get the recording and I couldn't make it out what company it was untill now that you guys gave mentioned it.. How the HELL we gonna get them to STOP calling...

Just got another call about the same time from this #. No one says anything and if I hang on a few seconds I get the recording, "If you would like to make a call, please hang up and try again." The number comes up but the Caller ID just says UNKNOWN NAME. Got this one today, Wednesday, March 26, 2008. I did call the number back and it's a recording actually thanking ME for calling THEM and to leave a message. Well, I did----don't #&$#$@* call here again.

Same call,just a number no caller ID. I bet they are getting the number from the internet. Now that I know I will answer next time and tell them not to call. I will also mention that my number is on the do not call list, and I will report the call and any further calls.

I get a call from this number at least twice a week. I'm getting sick and tired of these ignorant people calling my cell.

I just called it to see who it was and found out that it is Matthew Lesko's Grant Finder Service.  Matthem Lesko is the guy on TV with the suit covered in big dollar signs advertising for free government money.

exact same experience as other posters above. frequently calling, begun about a week ago (march 2008) no idea how they got this number, as it is a private cell phone and have not passed it out beyond a few personal people...i have tried to re-dial the # and it goes straight to a voicemail recording.

keeps calling over and over again and does not leave message and no nAME.
