I got a call from 'Ruth' who said she was with 'I.T.S'?  Who ever that is.  She said the call was regarding my ex-husband and his new wife - she knew their names and his wife's maiden name.  I don't even know that.  She has called twice, each time leaving a little more information.

I got a call fron Deanna Harris from this number asking for me (she knew my name) reguarding " Darwin Hanna" ( I have no idea who this is) and she asked me to call her back at this number with ext 0093.

I got a voice message from "Denise" at x1170 saying she was from Toyota.  She knew my name and left it in the message.

I received a phone call from someone with the same last name with me after they said that a representative gave them my whole SSN, address, and phone number saying that I was "a sorry excuse for a human" & a "deadbeat".  I dont owe the company anything and am in the process of refinancing for a lower rate with another company.  I understand that they may feel as though they are entitled to their full amount plus interest, however they are not.  This is definitely breaking the law and should be handled appropriately.  Luckily the person that received the call didnt try to steal my identity.

The person Eileen at extension 1493 is rude and has no respect for calling a business. The person she needs to speak to is not reachable here at this business. She has made threats and hangs ups. I called this number to speak to her supervisor and no one seems to report to anyone. This women should no be working in customer service!

They are calling you because you or someone you know might have become late on a car note - They are not a collection agency.  They where hired to locate the vehicle for Toyota, Lexus, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, GMAC, Suntrust, HSBC, Harley Davidson, and Wachovia.  They use a system from LexisNexis which tracks information on everyone.  Anyone you have ever lived with, associated with and related to.  Anything that reports under your name or your ssn which includes address and phone numbers.  They also use the original credit application to contact anyone put down has a reference.  It sucks I know but that is what they do.  When they called me they told me they where calling from IGS and that they where looking for my sister.  I didn't give them any information.  I do not like receiving these calls just like all of you but I guess they have to, to get back the car, unlike the home the car moves and they dont always know where the car is and it is collateral for the debt taken out unlike a credit card which isn't secured.  I hope this helps you all understand what and why they do what they do.

yes I got a call from this number today 1-888-891-3144 wanting to talk to my husband because it was for a reference for a car loan for someone we never heard of. So I returned the call and they do not say who they are. I think it's a collection agency trying to be slick!! We don't owe any money to a collection agency so I don't know how they even got our name or phone number!

This was a collector on behalf of Toyota looking for my ex and his brother. I told them I moved out of state over 2 years ago. I was listed as a contact and they said they had got my phone number from Toyota, that really made me mad. I'm not even in any way connected to the car/person they are calling about but I do have a car in my own name though Toyota and that is how they got my cell#. Pretty sure they broke some kind of privacy law there.

received a call about picking up my car, which is paid up to date, by the way.  The extension she left for me didn't exist according to the automated answering service.  whatever...

Lady named kelly called asking for my sister. I told her the truth, that she didn't live there. She asked me for her number!! I told kelly that I would not inclose that information and she got mad! Said she was from I.G.S and that it was very important left an ext: 7690.

I received a call for Anna (I do not know an Anna, except my deciesed grandma) to call this number back at X9385. I did not respond to this because it didn't make sense...Was I wrong...I don't think so.  LOL! to them.  Are there more of you out there with this type of call??

Caller called and said she was with Bank of America.  She requested info about a car in the parking lot.  I called back and she did not answer.  Someone else answered and said that they were not BofA.  She said they do calls for BofA.  

I called the Anaheim Branch and left a message for the branch manager.

they called me about a loan as well, on behalf of Harley Davidson.  Don't have anything with Harley Davidson.  Isn't it against the law to represent someone you don't work for?  Needless to say, got their number and when you call back it doesn't give you any information. I received a voicemail from Donna Shaw (ext 0970) at Wachovia [garbled] Services. She mentioned the names of my wife and me, but said it was in regard to a third person we have never heard of. Neither of us has ever done business with Wachovia.

I was told they were conducting a very serious investigation about a phone call made from my phone, they did a reverse search. She then mentioned my ex-husband & the names of 2 other people that I never heard of.  I told her it was impossible that this call came from my phone, so she looked in her records and said the call was made from my ex's cell phone and since he & I have the same initials she got my phone number from the white pages.  She had information on my ex going back to 2002 to 9/08.  She kept stressing it was a serious investigation and that she had to reach one of the 3 people.  Her name was Linda @ ext.5007.

Left message they were calling about a Joan...same last name as mine. Don't know anyone by that name. Message said call Dianne Hathaway at this 888 number and ask for x5214

Maybe if you dead beats paid your balances and fees on time, I wouldn't have to verbally 'harass' you people via telephone. I swear, the lot of you ingrate mouthbreathers should have never been granted access to a line of credit. This Leslie woman is too persistent, to the point that each time she calls and leaves a message her tone of voice seems to be more angry than the last call.  I never answer it, I just laugh every time I hear her voice. I find it hilarious and very entertaining, because the rolls are reversed here, I'm the one who should be upset for being harrassed, but instead she is, Leslie if you're reading this, "you're a doofus!"
