Same experience as everyone listed below. Left a voicemail - no name, nor the company she was calling from. Just "in reference to 1834007895" and left a number and extension to call to about a business lien.

Just got a call from Clear Creek. Thanks for all the input on this forum. It has saved me worrying about what this case file was about. I'm prepared now for when they call back. I will be asking them a lot of questions. That usually gets these types to hang up.

Scammers. Criminals. They give bogus info about taxes due. They want more of your info. Read the BBB report. Call the cops.

Called and tried to sound very sharp and business-like but did not leave name of company OR HIS NAME and only said "REGARDING case file # ---" and left his number    Sounded like Scam!

I cannot get these people to stop calling me. I have reported them once already, and was replied that it would not happen again. Gee, guess what? They're still calling me. They are obnoxious and rude, and when I hang up they just keep calling back. Even if I did have a tax issue, I sure as heck would not hire them to help me. They make my blood pressure go up every time they call.
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Called us to tell us we overpaid taxes?  I just looked at my tax account and we are fine?  Not sure how they got our number or what they are trying to accomplish.  Has scam written all over it to me.  Called my restaurant on 2/20/14

Apparently some tax resolution firm called 'Clear Creek.' Instead of soliciting clients with mailed letters, they somehow got hold of my parents' phone number, and you can imagine how alarmed my parents were to hear about an 'urgent IRS legal matter!' How low will some people go?!

Received a call from them and they helped me save everything I had. Kept me from dealing with IRS Revenue Officers and took care of it straight with the Circuit Court Appeals. Picking up that phone call was the best decision I ever made.

Called me today about a tax debt.  Knew the so called amount that I owe.  Told the person to speak to my husband.  Jackie Hamilton of Clear Creek.  ext.165

First they kept calling about a tax credit the govt owed me, never returned call after looking up number.
Now they are saying they are from u.s. Atty office calling about tax debt.

I think I will turn the tables and contact u.s. Atty office to tell them about this company. Plus FCC of course.

Stephanie, extension 127 at 888-893-7537 phoned to say my business has an outstanding debt and subsequent lien of $600,000+ owed to the IRS and she was calling to collect on behalf of that lien.  She also said she could get the penalties and interest waived if we pay thru Clear Creek.  Here's the funny part:

1) she could not provide me with the full name of the business entity on which the lien was placed
2) she could not provide me with a tax ID/EIN number for which the lien was filed
3) she used profanity in her call to me (a clear violation of the FDCPA)
4) she refused to provide proof of the debt in writing upon request (also a clear violation of the FDCPA)
5) she refused to provide me with a fax number or mailing address for her business.  

Since she refused to give a mailing address, my question was this:  "ummmm....so you are suggesting that I just give you a credit card number so that you can charge $600,000?".  Her answer:  "ma'am - YOU NEED TO PAY YOUR BILLS".  

Right.  I'll get right on that.

Do they really think they are going to collect money by claiming a tax lien exists? What a scam? How are they still in business?

I want to be removed from this calling list immediately.  They are interupting me at work.  I do not have a tax lien.  Please stop these unwanted calls.
