Called claiming my phone service was switched without my permission.  I asked for a callback number and this was the one provided to me.  Not sure if it is a scam or what.

Received this number on my cell so many times. Had no idea who called. Randomly leave a message or just a missed called. I don't have anything to do with this number. Getting so tiresome. An abuse of my cell minutes. I alrealdy registered my cell with the government's no-call website. Thank everybody for reading.

This is a business who calls "on behalf of AT&T", they try to scam you into "saving" money by switching to their services. If you go to the AT&T website they have a list of telesales companies that they let call you to sell their crap services. They will be rude to you if you ask questions and when I asked to speak to a manager, they manager yelled at me and said "WTF, don't you want to save money?" I laughed and said if you were really AT&T, whom already has my business, you would not speak to your customers in such a manner. I told them, that telling people that they are AT&T is fraud! They will claim they are your account manager for AT&T as well. If you ask for a call back number, they will give you the AT&T 800 number. If anyone calls, simply hang up on them or tell them they are in violation of the do not call list, just remember to sign up for all of your numbers including your cell on the national registry. People are scum and telemarketers can be the worst.

Got a call from 888-894-1867 wanting me to renew my DSL service. The caller claiming there is a new price structure and by renewing the service would save $10/month. I am going to call my ATT rep to see if this is legit.

A bit of a silnce and then a woman practically screams "Yes,I'm calling from AT&T, who handles your AT&T account?  It sounded bogus so I gave her a name of someone that comes in at 5:00 pm and she immediately hung up. I've clued this person in to the fact that this is a scam call and to simply hang up if or when they call back - AT&T would never hire this obnoxious person...
