Just received a call from this number - following up regarding my new subscription to the Daily Breeze and to verify my form of payment and for my e-mail address. I didn't give it to her because I told her that they already have my info.

Call about 5 times a day, I do not answer unknown numbers, and no voice mail. Must be another scammer. My husband got some scam call on His phone from someplace claiming he owed them money, turned out to be another person with similar name. These people just get numbers off the Internet and call hoping to get lucky to find some fool willing to give out their information. DO NOT ANSWER these jerks. Only give out info if YOU initiate the call and it is somebody you know is legit.

If you have recently started a newspaper subscription, they are calling to make sure you are getting the paper and request your email address to add to their records.

I dialed the number and "Jim" answered saying it was the Las Vegas Review Journal checking to make sure my newspaper subscription is being received.

Good googly goo! This is the Mobile Press Register calling over and over and over again. They call me numerous times every day for various reasons! Thank goodness I gave them my Google Voice number so that I can now send them directly to voice mail, which naturally, they never leave. They are an annoyance.
