I got a call from a guy with a Middle Eastern from the number 202-239-5284 stating stating that he was Randy Spencer from he harris county sheriffs office and that he is warning me that he is about to issue a warrant for my arrest and to call this number 202-239-5284 to speak with a man named Daniel O'Brien.  So of course I called back thinking I was in trouble for something terrible. No to mention that I am 3 months pregnant and I was terrified that I was going to have to go to jail/prison while pregnant when I haven't committed a crime in my life maybe when I was 7 I might have taken a pack of bubble gum from the store because my mom told me no but she found out and me was dishes for a week with out my siblings help. So yeah that's the most punishment I have had for doing something wrong. So this scared the S*** out of me.  So when I call a man that sounded just like the guy that left me voice mail answered and pretended to transfer me to a man Named Daniel O'Brien when he does transfer me it turns out to be the same guy just with a different name.  He said that I need to pay $900 for a payday loan that I haven't paid off that I took out about a year ago which was a loan for $400 or they will be issuing a warrant for my arrest.  There is no way that I was going to be able to pay $900 in 25 mins.  I yelled at them told them to reduce my payment and maybe I can pay some of it.  So it went from $900 to $330 still told them I cant pay it till the 15th and that ill make a payment plan.  Then he proceeds to tell me that if I pay $150 that they wont put a warrant out all I needed to do was go to Walgreen's to get a green dot pak card put the money on it and call him back with the number on the back and I only had one hour to do it. I just knew this was not right in my gut so after I agreed and got off the phone with him I went online googled everything they told me and found all these sites about it being a scam.  Thank god for Google because I was sooooooo stressed out and all I could think about was my baby and how much stress I put on my self about not being able to pay this but the second I read all of these stories my heart started to beat normal.  Freaking a***oles almost made me loose my child from stress they are horrible people to keep bothering.  When an hour was up they continued to call leaving me voicemails with different names yelling on the voicemails saying that cops will be arresting me soon.  I feel like I need to go change my number.

Hey, everyone I got phone calls from these morons as well this nasty person says his name is Earl jones we all know it's not. I have filed a complaint with the FTC as well as the bbb. The number Earl jones is calling from is 678-206-0140. Whom ever this company is needs to shut down and people making these call should be put in prison.

Said their name was CCR....Beau William, A Law Firm trying to collect a debt.

I got a message from someone identifying themselves as Corey Roberts. At first she said she was calling from CCR and then at the end of the message she said she was from CCF & Associates. She said I had until 6pm the following day to contact them or I would have a judgement against me without my knowledge. PFFT I am studying law and guess what?? They are full of it. They can't threaten legal action and they can't get a judgement without having you served. Not to mention they claim its from a check 5 years ago and the statute in my state is only 3 years if it were even true. This company is a scam. I asked for something in writing and they claimed they were not allowed to send anything. RED FLAGS all over this company. Can't even get their own name right.

Someone called and left a message stating that my husband was a person of interest in a case #........Idetified herself as Ms. Harris and needed him to return the call at 1-888-895-8613 ext. 543.  Have no idea what this is about as we do not have any bad debts and never have.  Probably looking for our son who has bad debts up the wazzooooo.  Did not return the call and do not plan too.

a Katie Williams from CCR or CCF & Associates called my parents, stating a case was bring filed against me in regards to some debt....when did attorneys start calling? If a Lawsuit is gonna be filed, they have to give you WRITTEN NOTICE...no phone calls....its a debit collector, if you think you owe the debit they need to send it writting, if no matter they need to send it registered mail!!!

Someone called me about a person with the same name as a relative of mine. The caller claimed Wachovia Bank was going to refer a fraud case to court and needs a statement over the phone. WB is now a Wells Fargo bank. That relative still lives at the same address as in the past, so WB would have notified by mail the need for a statement. I told the caller I have no legal standing in the matter and my phone number is to be dropped from the database.
