THEY ASKED FOR MY PERSONAL INFORMATION, PLAN TO REPORT THESE JERKS THAT HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO. JUST BE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE CALLING THEM!

Just got the text message, what idiots! Who in their right mind would give their credit card info over the phone to a company that you know you don't do business with? Whoever you are, Express Direct, rot in hell.

Can the FTC do something about these idiots.  Company is truly a scam

I got a text but with a different number to call than above.  No credt card company would ever send a text!

Received two text messages in the last 12 hours from "UsDirectExpress" and "Us.Direct.Express" asking me to call due to a credit card issue. This is a work cell phone and is most definitely spam. Sneaky!

We just got one from a 1-(305) number and deleted it. On the 4th of July.

Folks, all you need to do is to go to www.digitone.com and get a Call Blocker.  Cost: about $100.00 with shipping.  Benefit: BLESSED SILENCE on your phone if you do as I have done.

1. Install Call Blocker.
2. Turn on the "First Ring Suppression" feature (you won't even hear the phone ring until Call Blocker recognizes the caller as one you have expressly permitted.)
3. Turn on the "Block ALL CALLERS" feature.  This one stops ALL INCOMING CALLS unless they are on your PERMITTED CALLER list.  You can have 60 numbers on that list.
4. YOU'RE DONE.  Now, none of these various A***OLES can get through to you.

By the way, I DO NOT work for this company, nor do I receive any compensation for putting this information out.  I do this because I just love to CRUSH THE DREAMS of everyone of the SCUMBAGS who work for these companies.

How the heck do I get this to stop!!!

My sister has been getting constant email messages that her account was still open.  She did used to have an account with this company but switched away when they started playing games such as juggling the order of payments she made in order to cause her to have an over balance so they could charge a fee.  It was direct deposit so, of course, it was hard to fight these fees because they'd grab the money as soon as it came in.  She tired of the email and called to tell them to just close the account.  The person who answered the phone wanted her to fax over her driver license to prove she was who she said she was.  She refused.  Then they said they would take a utility bill instead.  Once again, no.  The person on the other end also insisted "You have to give me five dollars to close the account."  No also on that.  They also kept asking about some other person my sister doesn't even know.  Is she associated with you?  No. What is her age range?  She told them how could she know that  because she doesn't know that person.  Because they kept insisted on some sort of faxed "proof" of who she is and that the five dollars had to be sent through her current bank or they wouldn't close the account, she told she'd be filing a complaint and hung up on them.  Bottom feeders.

My SS Disability and many other people have their accounts set up through DirectExpress and the phone number for customer service is on the back of your debit card. DON"T give out personal info to scammers!

Got a text message on an emergency pager from this number.  Not good.

Do these people think we're a bunch of idiots?!!!  Do NOT give any account info to these scum bags... NEVER give someone your account number and/or PIN by phone, email, text... don't do it at all.  The banks and credit card companies where you have an account will NEVER ask you for your account number if they contact you - they already have it.

Turns out it was a scam that was using another companies phone number. Not sure if they hacked it or what. But they said it was fixed and they reported them to the FBI. 8889256070 is actually a male supplement company.

Someone should sue these jerks and get them to stop this fraud.

Got a text at 10:45am EST from direct60048. Same phone number 1-888-925-6070. Google the scam. THEY HAVE A WEBSITE TOO! Asks for the same info.  Scaming, low life, dirtbags.

Received a text at 11:08 am from direct29223@sms-directexpress.com that said

"(sms-alert) Direct Express - account alert. Call 1-888 925 6070."

I called the number, it asked for my card number, I hung up.
