The owner is Jason Jakubec and another Loser named Pat. I was receiving calls from them about a debt to do with my x girlfriend. I told them they had the wrong number but insisted i was lieing. I did a little research, this guys are linked so many junk debtors. The owner Jason has a dwi charge in new York which you can see if you simply google his name, along with his cell phone number-716-628-7059. He?s also linked to a bunch of craigslist scams with his brother? Not sure if any of this is true because it is on the internet but I just want to be left alone considering I didn?t do anything wrong but they don?t want to let up and leave me alone. This debt has absolutely nothing to do with me but yet I get at least two phone calls a day and they keep saying they?ll have me served at work. It doesn?t sound like a company or a lawyer?s office at all. I?m going to have my brother in law who works at a law firm final an official complaint. This is crazy.

I received two calls from Frank Levandonski (sp?). I called back and requested him and was transferred to his voicemail. I called back and asked for his supervisor and was told that his supervisor is himself. I asked for the name if the company, if he was an attorney and the physical address...the woman hung up on me. Definitely not a legitimate business.

I've had the same type of calls. At first there was an independent server who was going to serve me papers. Now there's an investigator threatening me with a civil suit. This is ridiculous.

Today I have filed a complaint with the Federal Consumer Protection Bureau online. They have a new process where they will forward a copy of the consumer's complaint to the debt collection company and they expect an answer. That puts the Federal government in their business. Also they will forward details of the complaint to other federal agencies to investigate illegal collection activities such as pretending to be lawyers and process servers, threatening lawsuits, arrest, prosecution for fraud, filing tax liens, seizure of vehicle registration, revocation of driver's license, etc. I strongly urge anyone who has received threatening phone calls to file a complaint online at: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/

Caller looking for someone that does not live at this number nor has had no contact with in 20 years. When I called to ask questions, I was rudely hung up on. I will contact the BBB to file a written complaint.

I too had these calls start two days ago !  They started calling my home at 630am! Leaving information on the VM and talk about rude and mean .  I kept telling them they were wrong and they kept telling me to pay it off to avoid a summons being delivered to my place of employment or to my home to avoid being embarrassed.
They would NOT give me any information and Miss Bennett as she called herself was threatening me at every turn.  I have also kept all the VM and am hoping that maybe a group of us can ban together and file a lawsuit ?  I was told that I should just pay the total of 199.75 and then go after the person who stole my identity civily? LOL .. really she thought I was stupid. I was really upset at this entire matter and thank god we have a lawyer in the family whom did some investigating to find out this was a scam and that no one has ever tried to sue these people and close them down..

A Law Office NEVER does collection calls.  Everything must be documented and that is usually done by certified mail.

I got the same call, Renee Avery from UPC. Threatning me with charges. What a joke. I did some research and she used to call people from that 866 number. Now they use 716-616-3562. They are not real attorneys. Just ignore their calls.

Received a call from "Lisa Davis" with UPC & Associates demanding that I call back immediately or they would pursue a 30-day default judgment and seek to 1) garnish my wages 2) seize my bank accounts 3) file tax lien (what a joke !!) 4) seize motor vehicle registration and suspend my driver's license. All stupid scare tactics from a scammer. They always mention suspending a driver's license and going after the car to really scare vulnerable people. They can't go after a driver's license, that' s impossible. They don't scare me. I will see these weirdo's in court if they have something valid. Also mentioned a different call back number: 855-207-5440. They used to harass me with a ton of messages last year that listed 888-959-2873.

Yea the law office of Upc called so any people in our city. That our Sheriffs office went on 10 tv new to warn resadents about the Telephone scam.

My fiancé just got a call from them today too. Saying he had fraud charges pending and if he didn't call her back right away they were going to voluntary ally plea him guilty of all charges and what this was his verbal notification. Also calling from UPC and associates. He was freaked out and it kind of scared me. They gave us the same number. But when we called it said thy were unavailable. You could also hear a ton of background noise

The law office of UCP & associates Called me yesterday telling me that there was charges pending in my locel county and if i payed them 216.00 by the end of Feb all charges would be droped. I called the city hall and the county court house and there isnt no charges pending. So i started my own invectagation. I google there name the only thing i came up with was this web page.I 411 one of the numbers i got from them and it wasnt listed. I called the police dapartment explaned what was going on the officer told me it was a scam. I called 3 differnt layers. Witch all told me this was a scam. I even talked to my old layer who told me to give Todd William from the law office of UPC and associates his phone number and before i send any money out My layer said Mr Todd william most call him and mail me out some tipe of paper stateing what i owe and to whom. So i did just that i called the law office of UPC talked to some woman witch informed me Todd William will call my layer an had no problem in doing so. She also told me she had to write me up a paper and witch she would email me today. I also told her that was fine but i also wanted a letter mailed to me before i sent any money. She told me that was fine but she was going to go ahead and persue charges. And as long as this 216.00 was payed by feb 28th all charges would be drop! Well its 4;40pm and this law office of upc has not sent me no email nore have they contacted my layer or called me today. I dont believe these lames are real and the day i see them in court will be the day i come up off some money. Id like to know how these crock got my info If any one does happen to get to the bottem of this mess and finds out just who there people are im willing to go to court believe me i got some thing for thses crocks. They had me in a panic believeing they were real because they said they had my ssi number and s***. the 2 numbers witch called me was 1-866-910-9611 the other number was 716-568-7552 an this is also the number witch i looked up on 411 and isnt listed.....

The actual town is Amerst--not Amhurst. This is a friggin' joke. The address is in a strip mall, and is either a Chinese restaurant or a chiropractic clinic. I'm guessing the address is bogus, which means the company is more than bogus.

I got a call from them as well, but on a different 800-number for a different matter. They claimed I was part of some case regarding a "Luis Montoya." Interesting, no?

I love these scams. It's actually possible to play with scammers. In fact, there's a whole website dedicated to just that. www.419eaters.com. I kid you not ... the stories are priceless.

I have received several similar calls, however not for myself but for an old colleague whom I haven't seen or spoken to in a couple years. I never answer & they leave very threatening messages with too much info for a real debt collector.

Wow, I received a call from this law office also was a little confused so I googled the info. To my surprise a lot of people are receiving these calls too. I'm sure they will continue to call me at work but I'm not answering. Hopefully these calls will stop if I ignore them.

I received a message from UPC and associates today and they also threated to file charges with my local county clerk.  I listened to the background of the call and I could tell that there were multiple individuals making the same type of calls to others.  I is pretty funny because I have never know a law office to conduct business in such a way.
I do not understand why these people have to be so damn threating when they contact you.  If there is something that I do owe some.  Please just let me know and I will see if there is something that I can do at the current time to resolve the matter. These people are horrible and I am sick of them calling me.  The called from the following number: 716-616-3562.  I know previously that it was the (888) number that others have indicated.  I wish there was a way that I could STOP this harassing calls.

Been getting calls from this number as well. I told them that I was filing for bankruptcy, which i am cuz i did it 2 days ago, i got told "this debt is allowed or able to be discharged by bankruptcy court so we will just pursue you to the fullest of the law when your bankruptcy is discharged, have a nice day."

Report this company to the FTC and attorney general immediately. They are thiefs. They are scammers posing as attorneys. I googled this UPC and associates and found nothing.

this info is very helpful. our family is getting these calls too. unfortunately we all jump to conclusions without the facts. it all sounded very suspicious when one guy said to my husband he was an old man and it didn't matter what he said. he actually was cursing and using fowl language about the family member who supposedly used us as a reference. the whole thing stunk to high heaven. i have the call on my voice mail and will be reporting this to the authorities.
