Multiple calls over a week. No message. Finally I picked up. Connected quickly.  I aggessively refused to be transferred to his supervisor or Cox marketing.  Asserted by caller was: Name = Andrew;  Company = I-pacesetter(s) or EyePacesetter(s) or Pacesetter(s);  Location: Mesa, Arizona;  Details of address: Country Club and 7th; Product:  some offering by Cox Communications; Source of phone number:  He didn't really know, assumed that this was provided by Cox, dispute a "no call" on this number..  I suggested that he watch the front door, because any guys in suits are from the FTC, and they would be looking for him.  (Not many suits in Mesa these days.)   Call ended.

Called about an upgrade. Said he had my customer info "right here" and proceeded to give incorrect info.  Probably a scam.

This number has called me a couple of times now and when I answer there isn't anyone on the other end yet it shows the call is still connected.   :-/

Presumably this is for faster porn downloads but I didn't stay on the line to confirm as my wife walked in looking puzzled when she heard me repeat the company name.

Cox marketing call regarding an "internet upgrade promotion". They didn't leave a message, but that's the recording when you call back. I didn't hold to speak to a salesperson.

I am getting calls almost every hour. This is reported to be a Cox number. I'm putting them on notice to cease and desist or action will be taken.

They call every day, sometimes multiple times. When I answer, they are silent. When I don't answer they never leave a message

I missed a call from this number.  Good to know it would have been a waste of time if I had picked it up.

I get calls frequently from this number but they never ring through to me because I have Google Voice blocking them. Since I have Cox as my ISP here in Tucson I decided to call them to see if these calls were actually coming from them. The first agent I spoke with transferred me to another department which I assume was trained to deal specifically with these matters. This second agent confirmed that this was NOT, repeat NOT a Cox number. I then referred him to this website and to whocallsme.com to show that this is not an isolated incident. So Cox is going investigate the company that is commiting the fraudulent calls. Hope this helps.

The Free Upgrade is a legitimate offer, but they never upgrade you from this number. I called Cox to confirm this. I would not trust the caller.
