Total scam. There is NO customer service, they took weeks to list my car on their site only, after saying they'd list on "hundreds" of sites including ebay, autotrader, etc. I did not receive one single phone call, and being suspicious, asked an acquaintance to inquire after the car, contacting them through the website. They did not respond, even though  they were supposed to offer financing on older cars. Calls to them went unanswered, eventually the number I was given was disconnected. Fortunately, I was able to have my money refunded from my credit card company.

Grant Parker called me. He had 4 interested buyers. He suggested I list my car for $1000 more than it was already listed and that it would be available widely. For 399 + an additional 100  they would list your car and if it did not sell in 3 months I get my 399 back. It did not sell and was not listed correctly in the right state. I live in NYC and it was listed in Alabama. They have not returned my emails or calls for not selling. American Express is looking into the company and MAY refund me. They did not mention the refund paperwork ever on the phone. Grant Parker and the entire company are crooks. Read this and never use their company. This is a scam. Everyone who works for that company and is aware of what they do should not be able to sleep at night and will burn in hell.

This is true, Ive tried leaving messages and I havent got called back, is there a way to get through this? Have you managed to contact anyone since they have done this?

Hi, this is to ASN, you guys are a scam, if you want give me a call, you have me under your file, I tried selling my girlfriends 2008 Suzuki Swift, look through your files and give me a call, the car never sold, I filed the refund request forms, had it stamped by my lawyer, made a copy of all the papers, and sent it to you guys. I was told, after many months of calling, maybe 6-8 months later, that my refund was confirmed and that I was eligible for my refund. A month later I called you guys and I was told I would be receiving a cheque in the next 2-3 weeks, and the reason for the delay was because of the economy. Another month later, I call again, and I was told another week or two. It has been 2 months since I was told I would be getting my refund, and I still havent received a refund cheque, and now you guys dont answer the phones it goes straight to an answering machine, and even if I leave a message my calls dont get returned!

So there is the proof, Auto Seller Network is officially a scam, if you want to prove otherwise give me a call, and send me my refund you crooks.

How could I be so stupid! I was ripped off as well by ASN. Grant Parker (ext.203) told me he had a buyer for my truck in my hometown. All I had to do to seal the deal was put $399.99 on my credit card. I would be contacted by the person interested with in 48 hrs. yea right. what a sucker. Don't be fooled like I was. JUST HANG UP!

Jennifer,

Ditto exact excuses to us as well. They are such scam. Go to the consumer protection site of Canada and register a formal complaint and to the compitition bureau of Canada. Hopefully they can help do something. We are not giving up, but I think it is money gone. And Meanie will never return your call.

I have been waiting for my refund for over 5 months. each time i call i get a different answer: it has been written but needs to be processed though our processing company, its going to be shipped today, you will have it by the end of the month, our profit margins are not high enough to send out cheques, ETC ETC. i call every monday and wednesday when "melody" is in the office BUT i called this monday and was forwarded to a customer service company who refused to give me any answers.
i am extremely pissed off and beyond frustrated. if anyone has any tips or luck in getting their money back, share the details please!!

To ASN above,

I too believe AutoSeller Network to be a huge scam.  We listed our vehicle in Apr. '09 for 3 months.  They claimed my vehicle would be listed in all major papers and website where we lived, but I could never find ANY ad ANYWHERE, except on their own website.  I followed all the "procedures" for getting a refund, since I purchased the "buyers protection plan", and I STILL don't have my refund.  I have been promised it over and over, but each time is just a delay.

Interestingly....THIS WEEK when you call the 888-980-1223 you are connected to a 3rd party "Customer Service" company.  It's just another layer between me and my refund.

THIS IS A HUGE SCAM!!!  DON'T GIVE IN TO THE NON-STOP PHONE CALLS YOU GET TO LIST YOUR VEHICLE WITH THEM.  They are prowling legitimate sites like AutoTrader to get your phone number and they don't take no for an answer.  If I get my refund, I promise to re-post here to eat my words.

On October 21, 2009 the BBB accreditation was suspended due to failure to eliminate the underlying cause of complaints on file with the BBB. BBB processed a total of 19 complaints about this company in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period.

Why you have to be anonymous to answer this post? If you are a responsible corporate citizen then put your name, e-mail, business practice, contact phone numbers and designation here. I will talk with you directly not through internet.

Internet blog may be wrong for one location not every location. Can you find out wrong blog for Mcdonald, or Burgerking or auto trader or kijiji .. you name it.

People post bad or negative reviews on experience not by reading or dreaming in night.

I find it entertaining that the "Chris" who authored this last post has posted the same bits of "information" over the past few months on several sites, yet he's accusing people posting positive responses of being employees of ASN.

I am an employee of ASN.

If you have a complaint about ASN, contact the BBB like any other regular consumer.

We know that this "Chris" is not an actual customer of ours, but he is actually an ex-employee's boyfriend, who never worked at the company, and who's girlfriend worked with us for maybe 2 weeks? before she got frustrated because she couldn't manage her vehicle accounts worth a dime, quit, and blamed the company.  This is drama that shouldn't be on the internet, but that's what you get for using a tool like google, that aggregates all good and bad.  Look up any company you trust on google, and you will find good and bad.  Anybody can write a blog post.

Do we have skeletons?  No.  No way would we risk our BBB accreditation by not providing somebody a refund, or by not advertising a vehicle.  Our policies are set in stone for a reason, and that is so that we can treat every buyer and seller with the same level of respect.

To potential customers of ASN: if you trust the voice of the person on the phone, and want to sell your vehicle, we can help.  If your vehicle does not sell, you will receive a refund.  There are a large number of great employees working at ASN that are very knowledgeable about vehicles and marketing.

To the people dwindling on a decision for 2/3 weeks- one more point that'll hit you maybe a little bit harder- if we're still talking to you after 2/3 weeks, isn't that a sign that we actually do want your vehicle, specifically, rather than us moving on to a potential sucker that'll throw money at us?

P.s.  we block our number because we take credit cards on the phone- this prevents us from having our office lines tapped, since you can't tap a number if you don't know what number to tap.  This is why we do not take credit cards when you call our 1-888 number.

and no, I do not have any kind of permission to be posting this.  I'm not even a manager or sales agent with the company, but for those people already listening to irrelevant and less than trust-worthy information out here in the blogosphere, I hope this will at least make you think twice

I had someone call me from the number named Robert Peters from Auto seller network. I had a 2002 dodge ram 1500 and a 2005 corvette. I paid 500 per car to get them sold through their company... I was skeptic at first but i went to the better bussiness bureau, and seen there was a A rating on their service. Good news was that they sold my corvette in 8 days. My truck had not sold yet, but i have had alot more response. I do feel my truck will be sold really soon. Overall rating, i give Auto Seller Network an 8.5 out of 10 rating. If they sell my truck i'll give them a 9.5. The only thing that was a down side of the company was the price.

I too got a call from Auto Sellers Network in Sept 2009.  The guys name was Grant Parker and he told me he already had at least 4 people approved for loans that were interested  in buying a Mini Cooper, which is what I was trying to sell. He told me it would be $399.99 and for an additional $99.00 they would guarantee a refund if the car did not sell in 90 days.  Stupid me agreed!  Well, like everyone else who has complained, they didn't even put a picture of my car on the website for about a month even thought I called several times to complain  I never received one call on my car.  As soon as the 90 days was up, I called them to find out all of the "rules' around getting a refund and was told to download the form off the website and follow instructions, which includes sending the form to them by Certified Mail.   I followed instructions and they received my form on 12/14.  I am still trying to get my refund.  I  have called several times and sent several emails and I get no response.  I filed a complain with the BBB of Arizona and they sent a letter giving them 30 days to respons - nothing!  I have also just filed a complain with the Arizonal Attorney General and have just learned that the BBB has removed them from their list.   This whole thing stinks!!!  I ended up having my car repossessed because I could not sell it.  At the very least, I should get my money back.  Thiis is just another example of people preying  on individuals in this difficult economy.  Anything they can do to scam you out of money you don't have in the first place!!  I am 63 and recently lot my job and my only income in social security.  These people should be run out of the country!!!  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Ok so look at these FACTS:

https://www.bbb.org/online/consumer/cks.aspx?ID=109020910576970
that site is the BBB online stats which shows that:
# This business has been operating since  03/06/2002 ..(With a combined 18 years of experience the website claims... but last time I checked 2002 was 7 years ago)
# This business was accredited by BBB on 01/30/2009
# This business was approved as meeting BBBOnLine standards on 02/09/2009

NOW...the BBB site for both USA and CANADA ... in the USA they are rated F. The lowest of the low. In Canada, they are NR (not rated) due to complains and issues and have to be reviewed. They only got accredited January 1st 2009, and by Novemeber 2009, only 11 months, they have the lowest ratings possible.
Canada BBB site: http://www.bbb.org/kitchener/business-reviews ... 0#accreditation
USA BBB site: http://www.bbb.org/central-northern-western-a ... -az-1000003139/

Canada's says: " On October 21, 2009 the accreditation was suspended due to failure to eliminate the underlying cause of complaints on file with the BBB. The matter will be reviewed by the BBB's Board of Directors at its next meeting."

USA says: "  This business is not a BBB Accredited Business.

On November 23, 2009 this company's BBB Accreditation was suspended due to one unresolved complaint on file, failure to respond to one or more customer complaints, failure to fulfill all licensing and bonding requirements of applicable jurisdictions and failure to eliminate the underlying cause of customer complaints identified by BBB.  The matter will be reviewed by the BBB Board of Directors at its next meeting on December 19, 2009. "

So... BBB Accredited is OUT THE WINDOW.

Auto Seller Network

SURE SALE AUTO, LOCAL DEALER MARKETING SERVICES, AUTO SELLER NETWORK, SPECIALTY AUTO NETWORK, EXPERT AUTO, USA MOTORS, ONE STOP MOTORS?? All the same company???. All from 702 area code.
Caller are desperate low-paid(commission only) scumbags from one of these BS market your auto companies.  They will lie to you and tell you they have a buyer for your car.  They spam Auto Trader and Craigslist ads.  They will lie about having buyers, financing, marketing, websites, etc., anything to get you to give them your credit card number so they can charge you for non-existent marketing services.  They also do not follow the law and call numbers on the National Do Not Call List.  They also do NOT maintain a Federally Required Do Not Call List internally.  Asking them to put you on their Do Not Call List will get you nowhere.   These scumbags will call back again and again and again to harass you.  Avoid these frauds !

Also, after they call, please go to :

www.donotcall.gov

and file a complaint against these frauds for calling you if you are on the national do not call list or if you have already told these scumbags to put you on a Federally required internal do not call list.

Also, these companies are VERY WELL KNOWN for coming to these sites and posting fake praise for their company.  It's part of their plan.  They know they get flagged all over the internet and search out the complaints.  They post fake good reports about themselves continually.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Just got off the phone with "Grant" - (888) 980-1223 x 203.  He called earlier and I told him I would call him back.  I checked out the number in the meantime and found all these warnings.  I went to Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) which had this:
BBB Accreditation
On October 21, 2009 the accreditation was suspended due to failure to eliminate the underlying cause of complaints on file with the BBB. The matter will be reviewed by the BBB's Board of Directors at its next meeting.
BBB Rating
Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of NR .
Reasons for this rating include:
?This business has no rating at this time because its rating is being reviewed and/or updated.

Grant called back before I had a chance to call him.  I told him about the BBB rating.  He said that was incorrect because he "just spoke with them today."  I told him he could give me a call back after they got the BBB "fix" their rating.  He hung up the phone on me!

person named chris stone called me  and also promisses me lot of money for my car. Also they will send you check for more money than your car is worth, but they want the difference back..  How it works.?
for example you are asking for the car $ 13.000, they will call you and tell you that they have a check form the auto insurance company for $ 16.000. They will tell you to send $ 3000 difference to someone else or back to the for the shipping of the car.  The check that they send will clear you get 16k and you send them 3k. Few weeks later bank will take or freze 16 k in your account because the check that they sent you was fraudulent. You gonna be $3000 dol short for that difference, but you will not find that person who cashed it , because they have some crackheads with fake id's who will cash it for them.     DONT DO IT

I also got a call from Jack Goodrich. Infact, I just got off the phone with him. They have called me for the past 2 weeks everyday and last night I finally let him explain to me the procedure. Same as the rest $500 I had to pay them for them to advertise the car. I told him i would research them and I would call back. I am glad that I found all these complaints on their buisness, otherwise I would be at a $500 loss too.
He called back today, and I told him I was not interested. He then started to yell at me saying, "I don't understand people like you who want to pass up $31,000 for your car. We have the cash." I said, "Well when you deposit that $31,000 into my bank account, I will then give you my car and the $500 and you can do what you want with it." At this point he was having a fit, and yelling a whole bunch of words and then he hung up on me!! LOSER!! Don't fall for these scammers!!!
