This company is a collection company, Nationwide Credit, Inc., and not DirectTV only. I think I also read that this company is used by QVC as well. If this is true, it speaks volumes about DirectTV and QVC as companies. Nationwide Credit, Inc. does not follow the rules and has had to pay huge penalties for it as evidenced in http://www.ftc.gov/opa/1998/10/nationwide.shtm

Three or four calls over the course of five days to my house number----for a person who does not live there, has never lived there, and will never live there! (I know the person). This outfit should be prosecuted.

Nationwide credit collector. Very rude & annoying. Calling wrong person. I called and spoke to a human being located in the New York State. Why don't they send these jobs to India or the Phillippines? They are as annoying as all hell. Might as well send them there to top it off and add to the aggravation.

Robot call while I was out, left a voice mail asking for a person unknown to me and said it was from Nationwide Credit. Caller ID said "unknown" but voice mail said him self as "Bob Jones". Phony, of course.
There are two collection agencies called "Nationwide Credit". I am pretty good at getting up the corporate ladder and yanking chains, I have ruined the day for more than one supervisor for these types of companies. But I have no way of knowing which Nationwide Credit made the call.

Rec'd a call from the above number with caller ID "Unavailable"; which in itself is a violation of Federal & State laws.
I'm on the do not call so list, so they're being reported to both State & Federal Authorities.

Call from Nationwide. Debt collector for an old bank account. They were rude and demanding and refused to work with me at all. Seems they like to make threats too.

Lots of robot calls from Nationwide Credit. They are one of the largest debt collectors.
