Company called my cell phone five times over a period of six days 10/21-10/26.
When I let the calls go to voicemail: a short span of room noise followed by a manual hangup.
I answered on two occasions and told them to remove me from their calling list; each time the "gentleman" on the other end attempted to used cold call scare tactics to keep me on the line; Guy #1 one: "So why did you sign up with our website?" (He didn't name the site.) "So, you don't mind that someone else has your personal information? Okay, good luck with that." (He didn't call me by name, or indicate in any way that they actually had any of my personal information.) I stated I was on the Do Not Call list; Guy 1 replied that they don't operate in the U.S. Wonderful. Guy #2 actually feigned offense at my anger. But, as they haven't called since, I'm forced to recommend cursing creatively to deal with these people.
