I unfortunately got scammed into their stupid time share while in Vegas, we cant afford it and cant get rid of it so now westgate is harassing us. Luckily Verizon has the option of blocking numbers

They have been calling me for weeks.  I have no idea why.  When I got on the phone :Amanda wants all this information and would not give me to a supervisor.  I own 2 timeshares.  I have told them in no uncertain terms not to call me... if they need me send an email.  I also said one more call and I will complain to the ftc.  I am on a no call list too.  I am tires of them and wish I did not own their stuff.  I know this... it is paid for as are the taxes and maintenance.  There is nothing else to talk about for me.

I keep getting calls from this number and speak to Amber and Matt and another person all saying the same and demanding money for which I am not owing.  I have tried to explain to them on every occassion but they just shout me down and not listen and threaten even more.  I am sick to death of these threats and constant calls but do not know how to bar them from my phone.  The biggest mistake I have ever made was to buy a timeshare, I thought it would be a good way of my children being able to travel all over the world on exchanges, but its just proved to be a massive burden which has lead to illness, but Westgate do not care all they want is their money and they don't even care if you die as they will just come after your heirs - something they do not explain in all their hype to get you to sign up!!! No they make it all sound the best thing since sliced bread, but never explain how expensive its going to be, how impossible it is to sell it or even rent it.  They tell that you can easily rent it so if you can't use it one year no worries - just rent it and that will pay your maintenance fee so you can't lose'  Yes you can as soon as you sign up then they set these people on you.

I called them back. I have owned a timeshare at Westgate Lakes Resorts in Orlando since 2001. Wonderful place, but I can not afford the maintainance fees - about $939.00 every other year. When I filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, I included the fees in the list of debts to be discharged. The collection agency wanted to know what I intended to do with the timeshare since I am still the owner. I will sign their deed in lieu of foreclosure papers, have them notarized at my bank and give them ownership of the timeshare. They can resell it to someone else.

A few months ago, I asked Alpenland Resorts to accept a deed in lieu of foreclosure on a timeshare I have owned more than 20 years. They refused to accept a free timeshare to resell. So I included the fees in Chapter 7. The problem is I still own the timeshare and a new collection clock will reset after my debts are discharged. It is a shame they can not be as nice as Westgate Lakes Resort. I may some day have to prove in court that the salesman misrepresented the facts: Timeshares are worthless. Their value goes down. No one wants to buy it. Selling is not easy. Most listing companies just take your money - nothing sells.

My aunt's home phone keeps on recieving calls from this wretched, spoiled, and dreaded caller. They should be reported to the police right now for excessive harassment

I also get 5-6 calls per day from this 888-999-0101 number. They never leave a message and I don't answer it.

They call but they don't like to say who are they,just asking for personal information.Like How long you own your phone number etc.etc.

To Answer Everyone's question....this number is Westgate Resorts Collection Department (CFI Resorts Management). I used to work for them. They don't leave messages because if they disclose who they are without talking to the person they wanted to speak with they can't call again for 24hours. The calls are from 8am to 9pm in your timezone. Calls are made several times during the day because your number is in a dialer. When you pick up (ususally) someone is supposed to be routed the call to speak with you. If you don't own a timeshare with them or you say it's the wrong number, they'll try to probe you with questions to see if you're lying. If you really don't have a timeshare with them, insist that they have a wrong number and speak with a manager.

I just received a call from this number as well, on my cell phone.  As commented by others here, they have not left a message.

I have received numerous calls on a daily basis from this number 1-888-999-0101. I am on the do not call list.

Calls EVERYDAY! at least twice a day,at most 4 times a day! Doesn't leave a message,just calls and calls. If it's important, why not leave a message? I don't answer their calls. Waiting for them to give up. But I can't help wondering who they are. Will visit this site again in the future.

I've gotten got alot of UNKNOWN calls from this number.  I dont answer calls where I cant see who is calling.

It's some kind of timeshares collection agency, looks like they're out of Orlando Florida area.
Got the call today, picked up and it was a recording saying "Please wait for an important message" it repeated 3 times, I waited another minute and still nobody came on the line, so I hung up.

Guess just like our emails get spam, now so do our cellphones!

I do not answer the call because I don't recognize the number. However, they never leave a message and they begin calling at 8:00 a.m. and continue until approximately 7:30 each night. With calls being made about every 2 hours.

they call and don't say anything, they don't leave massages and they even call my cell well I'm at work and that number is on the do not call list.

I couldn't agree more. Feel stupid that I even let them browbeat me into buying a timeshare that is so not worth the money. STUPID! Not worth the money people....run!

I keep telling them I've tried to make the payment but there something
wrong with their website. There response is your bank has an account problem.
Never buy a timeshare. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

This is Westgate Resorts Accounting Dept Calling. They could not process my payment because I had canceled my lost credit card. The rep was very nice and I gave him my new credit card.

BEWARE OF "Westgate Resorts" SLAMB DUNK SALES AND TRICKERY!!! Westgate Resorts calls usually many times a day, and  even on the weekends. dO NOT SET AN APPOINTMENT WITH THIS ORGINIZATION!! If you ask to speak to a supervisor, another sales rep will pretend to be one and they will not remove you from the list, upon your request. File a complaint!!! We are also on a national do not call list and have also filed a complaint with the FTC.Caller ID: toll free SVC.
