I just got a call from this number. If you have a cell phone number you can block unknown, private and in this case a known number. I reported Yellow Pages Directory to their money processor this year. I did pay a bill not realizing that this was a scam but in 2010 when it was Yellow Local Directory. I was told it was canceled and I have a fax saying so. Now they are starting back up telling me I have a pass due amount of $834.40!!  For account that was paid off! Now they no longer Yellow Local Directory they are Yellow National Directory! Saying they bought out the company! Oh really??
Now if you did pay a bill, follow the money trail.. It will take you to their processor. The file a complaint with the BBB.. I did.. They won't let you talk to their boss, they want you to agree to send you a bill. And when you do they are recording it. So don't agree to anything.. I have no signed contact with them, I just made it very unpleasant for them. And will keep doing so. Each time a get a call from a number I do not know? I google it..

they just called again, saying there was some confusion on my account.  Told them there was no confusion, no one ever signed a contract.  They said it was done verbally, and they would have to pull my file.  I told them to go ahead and fax me the file, and that until they do that, they don't need to bother calling again.  They asked for my fax#, I replied "you should have that in your file".

same thing - called my business, do we want to renew or cancel the Yellow Pages On-line advertising contract.  I said we never signed a contract, so there is nothing to renew or cancel.  They considered that a cancellation, and will be sending me a bill for $695 for the past year of service.  Good luck trying to collect it from me!

I received a call today from this number asking if I wanted to renew the contract.  I said we will likely be disolving the company in the next couple of months.  He says so I'll put in here that you want to cancel the contract and we will send you an invoice for the past year's service.  I said "what service"?  He said online yellow page advertising.  I asked how much the invoice was and he said $695!  I said NO WAY.  I needed to talk to my husband who is the company owner.  He said he would call back tomorrow. I'm going to report them to my state Attorney General's office!

They are yellow pages.  An online company who uses the yellow pages phone book and logo.  They are not part of the phone book company.
They try and trick you into believing they are the real company and charge you for an "online phonebook" yellow pages only.  They call with different numbers all the time. Their trick is to ask if you want to renew your ad.  get your info and bill you for a useless ad.  Again under the impression it is AT&T Yellow Pages or Yellow book phone books. And they will call you every few months if you do answer.  They also send out bills and invoices to try and trick people.  They are located out of Florida.

This number called me several times.

I just received a call telling me I need to renew with Yellow pages I did not request their services.Total scam-had same problem last year,they told me they were going to send me to collections, ruin my credit, sue me as well....never saw a thing .Worthless  scumbags!!

I have also been receiving these calls. How do you get rid of them?

This number has called me 7 times in the last 2 days...I have sent it directly to voicemail 3 times and they keep calling. Other times I answer it and put it on mute and let them say "Hello" until they hang up. My next step is to answer it and use the name of the local County Police and see if they keep calling back.

I know for a fact that no one in my company ordered this service b/c we are a public company and do our own online advertising so there is no need to order their "service". You also need to be careful about giving them your address or fax number b/c they will send you "bills". They have even gone so far as to send a collections letter to the attention of a previous employee who past away several years ago.

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize and even though I have registered my business number with the Do Not Call Registry they keep calling. To make it even worse, you can't file a complaint on this number b/c the area code isn't valid.

Wow, I'm not the only one. That's exactly what happened with our company as well. And yes, he did hang up on me when I asked to get quality control's phone number or supervisor. It is not the yellow page compnay that we know either. Some internet yellow page company. He asked me either I want to renew the contract or not which our company never knew that we had a contract. I never signed up the contract, but they told me that it was ordered over the phone. And since I do not wish to renew the contract, they told me that there's outstanding balance for past 12 months of service usage. What? You charge somtheing was never ordered after 12 months? Does this sound normal to you?

I'm not even the owner of the company, but they have me as the business owner. And they have my name as ordered person / owner as well. It's a fraud. They never share exact name of compnay. It's not yellow page.
I'm no longer with the company. They called me the day before my last day there. I wonder what they would do without person who ordered a year ago according to them. Disgusting company.

Yes, they called our company too. Same thing...I never initiated an account and now they want to renew.

Why are people allowed to call to renew things you don't have or want. They will not give a supervisors phone number and they just hang up when you ask them questions. If this was a legitament company they wouldn't hang up on you. I'm on a do not call list but that doesn't work. How do I get these calls to stop.
