i know what the 1-900-443-2442 is

900-443-2442 Membership 29.95 charged to our phone bill, 3rd month in a row!  No one can explain who this is.  Again, charged to a fax line.  Hackers can dial in to #'s that don't contain an answering message and dial out using that line.  Verizon credited our account reluctantly the first two times and claims to have turned on 900 blocking yet somehow continues.  On the phone now with Verizon cust. service rep. who claims he has never heard of such a hacking threat...right.

One of the calls showed up on my telephone bill, 900-443-2442 costing $29.95 for "membership".  Billing from MCI

900-443-2442 "MEMBERSHIP" I get these numbers on my phone bill every other month verizon will not give me credit for them theses calls are also on a faxline too and i have 900 blocks on my faxline but are still going threw they told me it was a online service that billed my faxline or i used the faxline to call that number bull s***  verizon refused to help me

got MCI charges totalling $84 and change on my Verizon Bill.  Said all were 900 numbers DIALED - (not received):  
900-990-9569 "DATEC"
900-443-2442 "MEMBERSHIP"
900-776-3219 "GXB"

Most are from my fax machine no. /history on my fax has no 900 phone nos. & I know I never called any and the above information in quotes is from Verizon - MCI "can't help since my bills are from Verizon."  (Verizon told me that was incorrect and still helped as much as giving me the information (above, in quotes) and putting a block on 900 numbers.

I am pissed.  I was charged 29.95 on my bill for membership, no one can tell me who or what this is.  This is crap!
