DO NOT LET ANYONE USE YOUR PHONE, UNLESS YOU DIAL THE NUMBER.
A call was made from my business phone to this 900 number and I was charged
$34.95 for 1 minute.

All businesses should take 5 minutes to call their long distance provider and request a block be placed on outgoing 900 numbers. If you switch providers you will need to repeat the request with them. It may not guarantee future billings from scammers but you will have another valid argument when a shady company like Champion Communications tries to squeeze you.

This charge showed up on my phone bill, it was made at 2:09 AM!  What the heck.  $34.95 for one minute!

Why is this allowed. I blame big phone companies that allow these charges to show up on your phone bill.
