1-900-548-6666 states on 9 Mar 2012 "We got a call requesting our services to call this number back at the "toll free number".  Ask for Erik at extension 25.  When we called there was a message in spanish saying there was a $26.00 charge for 3 seconds of time."
900 numbers are required by law to announce the pricing structure at the start of the call (it ain't toll-free!) and callers have the opportunity to hang up if they don't like the price and I hope 1-900-548-6666 hung up in time. "$26.00 charge for 3 second" translates into $520/min, $5,200 for 10 mins, $10,400 for 20 mins, and $15,600 for 30 minutes, and charges are clocked in 3-second bites with (I bet) fractional bites being charged the full $26. Do you need help with the math? How's the new job going?

Ginger states on 31 Jan 2012 "urgently need computer services"
tatiana replies to Gary 4 Feb 2012 "bought around 6 computer monitors and a few keyboards from us"
Rob states on 2 Feb 2012 "this number wanting to buy chairs and tables"
ben west states on 4 Feb 2012 "wanting computers ... selling them over 42 units plus accessories"
brandon (that's you!) states on 11 Mar 2012 "This is a job find company and ACTUALLY found me a job"
Since 900-548-6666 *ISN'T* about psychic lines and games of chance, the stated limits *DO NOT APPLY*, isn't that right? And the prices apply to Canadians, don't think price limits apply to Americans at all. Since you state they are a "job find company", kind of weird that you don't seem to know it's not a psychic or game-of-chance line. How's the new job going?

CRTC regulations and rate caps reduce consumer risk

The CRTC has set maximum rates, charges and regulations to help reduce the risks for 900 callers:

the maximum rate for calls to psychic lines is $6 per minute
the maximum charge for games of chance is $5 per call
providers of games of chance must tell callers about any available alternate ways of playing the game that do not involve calling a 900 number

A job! How wonderful for you! How long did they keep you on the phone giving you the details on the job? 10 mins? 20 mins? 30 mins? If 10 mins, then you paid $5,200 for the phone call. If 20 mins, then you paid $10,400 for the phone call. If 30 mins, then you paid $15,600 for the phone call. They SCAMMED you into calling a premium-rate 900 number but they got you a job! How wonderful! Re. "anywhere i can leave them a feed back," why don't you call them back on 900-548-6666 to show your gratitude? They will be glad for your call, especially if you talk for a looooooonnnnnggg time!

In case you haven't figured it out, the message is to induce victims to call back on a premium-rate 900 number, falsely described as a "toll free number," that racks up *HUGE* phone charges at the rate of $26 for 3 seconds which translates to 26/3*60=$520/min (that's five hundred and twenty dollars per minute, *NOT* five dollars and twenty cents per minute). "messing with you" is clumsy, "SCAMMING you" is more appropriate and no, not by a competitor who is targeting me but by a scammer who is targeting anyone and everyone who can be SCAMMED into calling a $520/min premium-rate 900 number. Scammers do not discriminate; scammers will steal anyone's $money.

No, they did not get Jesse a job. If you read Jesse's post carefully, he said "people that we almost did business with" which means Jesse declined to do any business with them and no job was ever mentioned. How did you miss that?

If it was a scam why would there be a message telling you the entire details? if you what are saying is actually true then someone was messing with you.. maybe a competitor?

The scammers lied when they told you "toll free number. " I suggest you call your phone service provider ASAP, tell them what happened (Spanish, you were lied to, etc.), tell them to read this 800notes webpage, ask if there is a charge on your phone bill, ask for the charge to be removed because this is a scam if there is one, and ask them to block 900-548-6666 from charging all phone numbers operated by your service provider because this is a scam and many people are going to get scammed. At the bottom of that FCC link above, there is a link to a complaint form, please fill it out.

SHAME TO THESE SNAKES!  HOPE THEY GET NAILED FOR THIS SCAM INSTEAD OF MAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE WHO WORK HARD TO MAKE A LIVING

THIS IS A SCAM!!!  DO NOT CALL BACK!!!  If you do, you will be charge a HUGE $AMOUNT on your phone bill. 900 numbers can be set up to charge any $amount per minute like $10/minute or more and they will also try to keep you on the line as long as possible to rack up the charges. Read all about 900 preminum-rate numbers here http://www.fcc.gov/guides/900-pay-call-and-other-information-services
