Bank Tennesee is real bank in Memphis, TN with several branches.
I saw this on their website by following a "Important Security Information" link. http://www.banktennessee.com/index.asp?page=5074
BankTennessee has received numerous reports from customers as well as non-customers about phishing schemes this week. Thieves are sending emails and text messages that appear to be from us. As part of the scam, unsuspecting persons are redirected to a phony website or to call a phone number that may look or sound exactly like the real thing. While these schemes change frequently, they usually ask you to call a particular phone number or go to a website immediately and then ask you to provide personal data. If you provide the requested information, you may find yourself the victim of identity theft."

I did a reverse lookup on whitepages.com and this is a unlisted landline in Memphis. Ought to report them to AT&T, but it might not even be the real sender.

I got the same text from 36245. You cannot reply to the text. I live in the Nashville area and have never heard of Bank Tennessee. Its a scam. I tried to call the number back to f*** with them but I got a fast busy signal.

received a text message from the same number a few minutes ago. I know this is bogus. They are not getting my info or my money.They need to get a job.

Oh, and another reason that this is bogus, that "Bank Tennessee" is in Memphis, and am in the Nashville metro area.

I got a text message from the same number. Purely, bogus. My bank is completely different address and would not text me anyway. They call me directly, based on the contact phone # that I gave them.

I got a similar text message today. Says its from Bank Tennesse, never heard of them before. I don't think I am calling it back. the number that came in on the text message was 362-45.

Recieved e-mail with this number saying ATM card has been suspended. Wants me to call and re-instate. I think this is phishing.
