"officer mike watson" called me today too. A whole year later and these people are still up to their crap. He said there was a civil suit pending. He said that he was from the burea of criminal identification. BCI.

Same message about some relative who owes money and he's trying to extort it from me. A INDIAN (India etc) it laughable I just reported him along with his phone number (John Brown another bogus name) to the FTC

this is another in a series of calls I get about every 4-6 months. Caller ID puts it as 268-0006, but he wants me to call 901-290-7208. Usually it is an Officer Nick, but today was John Brown, of course with an Indian accent, says that I have been named in a criminal lawsuit, that I need to call back.  This is a scam, and after a year of receiving calls, blocking the numbers, they keep calling. It is scary that they do have the last 4 digits of my social, I have tried calling the District Attorneys office and unfortunately they cannot do anything because the calls are originating overseas.

Very frustrating!

This company keeps calling my job, My job told them not to call back and they told them that they are a criminal investigation bureau and will continue to call. They will not acknowledge who they represent

Hi I have the same guy Kevin Smith and he keep calling my job, its a 901 area code, it is embarassing because he calls at work...when i called back the number is not a valid number...any idea what that call is?

SCAM SCAM SCAM.  Do not give these people any money.  Immediately file a complain with your attorney general and FTC.  Next time they call tell them you have filed a complaint and to not call you ever again.  Usually once they find out you know they are a scam they will quit calling until they call again with another fake officer's name.

This phone number has been called me everyweek and said I own the Quick Cash Advance and if I pay him $446.21, he will not sue me in court.  I asked hime, "Do you have record that I owe the money with any company" and he said he has no record of it.  I called my attorney office and they advised me to tell him to send evidence and I will look into it.

Got  a call today from this officer david adams claiming to be from th bureau of criminal investigation. Had my name and social...... and wanted money. Even had a case number and said a law suit will be filed.... Same office called about 5 months ago.. Is it a scam...

This is the second time I've received a call AT MY WORK (which is a government office) from "Officer Kevin Smith" with some sort of Indian accent claiming that I'm involved in a criminal complaint.  

The first time, he said he was calling from the Bureau of Investigations and now this time he said he was calling from the Office of Criminal Identification.  Like others, the scary thing is that he states the last 4 digits of my social.  The first time he called and I spoke with him, I explained that he is calling a private, government office telephone number.  He seems not to care as I do believe that he, and others like him with ill intent, are most likely overseas and know (or think) that they can't be touched.  

He called again just now, but I was apparently away from my desk, as I just listened to a voicemail from him.

My wife got the same call last night.  what is weird is it does not sound like they are asking for money. But my wife could not understand him and he said you'll be arrested in 5 minutes.  Freeky.

I got a call from 812-314-7082 and when I called the phone company they said that they don't have a listing for that number, the person that called said his name was Officer Frank Martin and to have a person call him back at 901-290-7208 and when you call the number back it says all circuts are busy. I don't know who this is but it is scary.

Keep getting voice messages from some arab guy who says he;s from criminal investigation threatening me too call back or else but I don't. how do i find out where he is calling from?  He did have my SS#.  Scary creep!!!!!!

Got multiple phone call from a guy who called himself Shaun Brown. My name (not even my name) is supposedly on a case file for a friend. I am supposed to call back urgently before something happens to me.

I got a call from this phone number claiming they were David Evans with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation saying that i needed to call them before something bad happens to me.  I got the same type of message from 626-723-3133 from an Officer Ian Haskey with UMLD (same think middle eastern accent with horrible English) talking about a lawsuit that involved me and that i needed to contact him immediately.

This David Adam call me to 3 times and also called my work and also sent a letter to my work. This guy said the same thing but he had all the right info on me but I called the company he said he was tring to get the money for and they said they never heard of them.

i got a call from this number too. he said his name was officer david adams. he was pakistani and claimed to be from criminal identifications and he filed a law suit against me. i didnt call back

The person you are all looking for has been operating everywhere in the world. His job is to scam people and get peoples money because he does not have to ba**s to work. A very ambitious man with many vices on the side. Please put him to jail and punish him with life sentence as he had been doing this scam all his life. He currently work in another scam office in Indonesia using various names but the real name is David Adams. The person you are looking for is a n**ger with a long hair. Hunt him down before he can start fooling again.

The same thing happened to me today. John Brown called me about 6 or 7 times within 2 hours. He told me I would basically the same thing. Is this man nuts or what?

At 8:22am yseterday I got a phone call.  The caller ID came up unknown.  There was a message, After about 5 times, the woman barely spoke english, sounded indian or pakistani I listened to it and the first thing I hear is, This is Officer (someone) (could not understand her name.)She stated she was from the Bureau of Criminal Identification, and that the very second I receive this message I need to return the call.  Went on to further state they had an affadavit against my name and social security # with me being the primary suspect.  Went on to say that I need to return the call before something happens to me, and that I should not disregard this message, and if I don't all she can wish me is good luck, as the situation unfolds onto me and I may receive surprising news. The call back number was 901-290-7208 ext 4001.  I called back and a man said bureau of Criminal ID, I said I needed ext. 4001...he connected me to the same woman that called and she said i needed to talk to a supervisor.  a man gets on the phone tells me the call will be recorded and that if i resolve this matter today there will be no consequences...i asked him what matter...He said I took out a Cash Net loan for 500. Knowing that I never have  I asked him when...first he said july....i asked where it was deposited...he said desert palm national bank...it took me 4 times to ask him this, i could hardly understand a word...I told him I didn't have an account there, he said well then if this isn't true how would i have your ss# and all of your information...I asked him again when this "loan" was taken out...Then he told me February...I asked him where it was deposited and he told me he already told me all of the information and he was not going to keep repeating it.  I told him I wanted to know where the $ was so that I could go and get it out of the bank, I could use it.......He told me so could I and hung up the phone. I called back and there was no answer. Who can I report this to...He had ss# and all of my information

Just received a call from this number.  Number that comes out is 916 395-5000. Call back number is 901-290-7208.  Very thick accent from a person claiming to be an Officer with Euro Crime Department.  Had a similar call from a company like this a few weeks ago, claiming to be with the FTC.  Reported them immediately to "real" FTC.  Reported this number to FBI and FTC.  PLEASE REPORT THEM ASAP TO EVERY AGENCY.  They are a total scam!!!!

My wife got this phone call also about getting arrested.  They guy John Brown was not understandable.  We kept the voice message and can hear many people talking in the background like its a call center.  All we know is they know our phone number and her name so not as scary as some others I read in here.

I just got  the same phone call fro the same  person John Brown, I felt it was a scam from the get go.threatening me with jail, I lost my cool  saying i borrowed money off some internet loan  company $260.00,  he said i was  fixing to be arrested, that his investigative team was on there way to arrest me. I said whoah  this company  better and all  the paper work for this  and  proive it  because  im  not pating anything. That I havei have never borrowed any money off and  internet webite because they are scams. what freaked me out and is now obviously  hacked into my  pc and stole my  info because he knew everything on my personal  information. I cured at him  and  he claimed to be recording it, but  then  i  bursted out laughing when he said again that the  investigative  team  was on the way to  arrest me,  to my POB  number   I said  that is a PO box not where i live. He got  mad i gues  and said what ever and hung up

These people just called me and threatened me with federal prison because of some pay day loans and check writing and whatnots. Everyone I spoke to was Asian and the music that they played while on holding was very unprofessional. I just turned them in to the Memphis Police Department and they said they will forward this to the correct people. I never did anything criminal and they kept saying criminal charges and a federal warrant is about to be issued for my arrest. this is definitely a scam!!

I just got the same called on my cell phone and teh number was 0000 so I picked it up and the man was like he has a criminal record or something on me that I needed to talk to his boss so I hung up do you know they had my work number and called and left this number 901-290-7208.  I called 911 and they told me not to worry about it because I didn't have a criminal record in the police system. Please be aware of this person.  I will be reporting them NOW!!!!

I got this call also and they left a message.  I called back and was informed that Officer Morgan at ext 1004 needed me to immediately meet at the courthouse.  I had some fun with this idiot.  I said "sure, no problem, do you know where my local courthouse is located?"  He then proceeded to tell me I had to get to the  Florida courthouse by 4:00....I live in Minnesota.  I had a bit more fun with him and informed him I contacted the sheriff and if he couldn't give me any information then he could go to hell.  He called me a few names and I just kept agging him on.  I eventually hung up on Officer Morgan and he called me back another 3 times and I just hung up.  On the forth call I turned the squelch up on my police scanner as loud as it would go until he hung up.  I haven't heard from him anymore today.  That number had called me a couple of days ago also and threatened me with court action.  He told me to meet him at my courthouse and I told him he needed to get to America first.  What an idiot!!!!  I will be prepared for the calls again.  Oh, I will be filing my reports on them also.  Good luck with these scammers and have fun getting on their nerves.

Something about me having a criminal record or something. Also something about a loan was mentioned. The line was horrid quality always cutting in and out. Not to mention the guy barely spoke English so that made it worse.
