Calls, never leaves message, will not connect when I call back.

I keep getting calls from this number, but do not answer.  I would like to find a way to block them.

I had a missed call from this number today. Do not answer, ring back or nothing simple. Anyone claiming to know who you are can never be a good thing. scam scam scam dont let them waste your time

just had another call from 902-371-549, I have been getting these call for 6 weeks now, at first I thought it was my aunt in Canada ringing me. I have answered once and tried ringing back both times nothing, just wondering what to do

Have any of you guys or girls tried to or have applied online for a contract phone and then this number has suddenly phoned you.

I get loads of calls each day off this number I'm afraid to answer or ring it back incase I get a heavy phone bill in,it's obv a scam

Asian guy claiming to be from a company called the uGroup.  He knew my name (although he insisted I was Mrs not Mr) and asked if I had received my letter from the bank about my PPI claim. I told him yes and he hung up.

Obviously another scam trying to get the old and vunerable to part with their money, in return for false offers of PPI payouts that never arrive.

(902) 371 549..... this is a Canadian number, I live in Manchester UK. Thisnumber keeps calling but i refuse to answer. This has been blocked from my phone. I dont want a call phone from canada. Im happy with the mobile i have in UK

This number called asking for Laura  when my boyfriend answered then proceeded to say they had a general inquiry and when asked who they were they said it was an anonymous general inquiry and asked him if he had a significant other and if he would consider switching bodies....weirdest call ever

They keep ringing me but I ain't answering!!

I just got a call from this number and didn't get to the phone - there was no message left. I googled it and found this site. I called the number back and it was just a loud tone.

I just got a call and Google it and found this site.  It was from Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island - 902 371-549.  The concerning thing was they new my name.  I said that person was not me and they must have the wrong number.  The East Indian sounding man confirmed the number, I asked him what did he want and he said I am phoning from you /youth group?  

Needless to say I just hung up as I could not be bothered with a scam.

What are they after?

I keep getting random calls from this number from Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island - 902-252-3776.  I never pick up, but they keep calling me and never leave a message.  I read on a blog that it is a scam.

Dec 13, 2011 7:33pm - just got a call from his number - east indian sounding man, said he was calling from Nova Scotia Power - I asked how he got my number and he said it was randomly picked, when I said I am on the national do not call list he said they are exempt from that. I ended up hanging up on him

I'm pretty sure it's a VoIP gateway.

My company, based in the US, calls me on it ten times a day.  It saves them long distance by routing the call over the internet and out the local phone number which happens to be '1.902.270.1111'

Obviously other people are using the same gateway, it could be Vonage or something, I'm not sure.  Either way it's another example of some pretty decent technology being exploited to ruin people's lives.

previous calls were from an east indian woman claiming to be from bell! Again today the number called! someone please do something about this number, although most of us are smart enough to hang up on scams, there are innocent people who dont realize the threat!

i got a call today telling me my mirosoft has a serious virus worse then a virus n he was wanting my passwords n money for him to fix my pc but my system has a fedora linux distro on it

Someone was calling you using Skype - local outgoing access number

You may not have had to give them money up front but the phone must come with a service contract because it has to be paid for somehow and we all know the money's in the contract, not the phone. You had to have given them your card number or personal info, *something* so the phone can be assigned and billed to you. Not very smart to give out info to strangers who call you.

I got a call from Bell offering me a cell phone, a htc touch dual.  I accepted, did not have to give them any mony and I picked my cell phone up at the purolator depo.  The call here a lot offering me different things that bell has to offer. I usually am very cautious because of scams but the Bell caller I dealt with was legit!!!

I got a call at 2:22pm today, an East Indian sounding man said hello, then I said hello and there was no answer. I was about to hang up when he said hello again and that he was calling on behalf of Bell Mobility and that I was the lucky winner of a new smart phone I said "ok" in a skeptical tone.He then said that all I needed to do was sign up for a contract and that it was a very great deal of $30 a month all he needed was my information and I said "no" I already had a cell phone with a different company and that I was not interested. He then said, but it is a really great deal and I said "I was not interested" then he didn't say anything else.  I said bye and hung up. It was really strange because usually call centers have a bunch of come backs to try and get you interested and keep you on the line. This guy seemed nervous and at a loss for words which I found extremely odd. Trust your gut, if it seems bad it usually is. This is definitely a scam, they are just trying to steal your personal information.

called here and offered a new phone from bell aliant, identified himself as michael jackson, asked for drivers license to verify age, and asked for a credit card and even address, just hang it up if they call, we are reporting to authorities
