Absolutely!    There is nothing better or more fertile to enhance one's profits  than a  list of Hostile People who have signed up on a government list that screams out  "Don't Call ME"!!!.   What better source of people,   who will welcome telemarketing and scamming calls,   than those who signed up on this list?     A Gold mine of waiting opportunity!!!    Duh.....

Thats not correct.  Tele-pests do not use the Do Not Call list as a source for numbers to call.  I went cell-only about 10 years ago.  I put my cell number on the Do Not Call list the day I got it.  I get maybe 5 tele-pest calls/year.

The Do Not Call List law does not apply to charities, even the phony ones that spend most of the donations on fundraising.  It does not apply to politicians, even the ones who lie, cheat, and steal.  It doesn't apply to pollsters.  It does not apply to bill collectors.  It does not apply to companies you have contacted in the last 6 months.  It does not apply to businesses you have dealt with in the last 2 years.  Also, many companies chose to ignore the law.  Its not enforceable against anyone who calls from outside the US.

People! The no-call list is useless!  Don't think because you are on a no-call list that you will not get calls from scummy telemarketers!  These scummy low-lifes use the no-call list to call people. Better to not be on the list.

Am on a no-call list - but still receive daily calls from this number re my "credit rating" but they never identify the company or perhaps I hang up too quickly.

The drug-addicted  card service scammers use a robodialer, which just dials numbers in a sequential order, in their attempts to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off to pay for their addictions.

They  keep calling my Pre-paid cell phone which I keep in the car for Emergency calls.  Wonder where they got the number.... no one else has it...

The robocall has been harrassing us for over 2 YEARS!  It is the same company via different area codes, 902, 212, 250, 780, 800,866, 888, 661, 587, 877, 630, 832, 647, 778, 202, 519, 506, 226, 289, 289, 217, 917. With countless telephone numbers. Each one being blocked every time they call. This is harrassment and the government won't do anything about it!

I think it was Mike Duffy calling from his official residence. He's depleted his local Food Bank and is still hungry.
Perhaps we need to make these types of calls an issue for the next Federal Election?  Alexander Graham Bell would be embarrassed with what's going on with his invention!

Well if you got a call from this number your looking at who it might be. I got a call to an OTTAWA, Ont. number this afternoon and as the rest of you have said it is very frustrating.

Wish we could get rid of these telephone computers that just call one number after another - the people who have access must be paying BCE for the service.

Perhaps we should call the CEO of BCE at home and see how he likes it.

Called me this afternoon, and I'm not in Canada. I'm in the Washington, DC metro area. Since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't answer. Figured if someone from Canada needed to talk to me badly enough, they would have left a message.

Don't just ask for complaints - DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE CALLS! This is a fraudulent company that will not even identify themselves.

they ph'd. my wife answered. she hit "1" to speak to a rep.  after a couple of minutes a person came on.  My wife asked to speak to their supervisor.  the other person hung up - how rude!  :)

I ph'd the number back. got message "the number you have called can not be completed as dialed. please check the area code and number or dial 411 for assistance." :)

:( guess they don't want my business very bad.  

The sad part is that they must be getting some success or they wouldn't be wasting their time and money doing this!

I to repeatedly get these calls. Fortunately I have call ID and when I see a number like that...I just don't answer. WE should be able to send an ear piercing sonic pulse through then line and give them a taste of the grief they bring us.

Credit card services scammers.  I actually spoke with a live person who thanked me for holding (ha!), then promptly hung up.  I was gonna tell him I am Nikita Khrushchev, and that I live on the Planet Melmac, but I am sure they don't have a sense of ha. Lunatic MFers, every one of 'em. Another all to DNCL.  Ho hum.

I have been receiving this phone call for a couple of weeks now. They really think I am stupid. I would never give out personal information to anyone that calls me randomly. I received a voicemail message last week from them and a couple of times I have received this message from an American number.
I think I should do what one other person posted. Find something really loud and blow it in their ears when they call lol

They just called me this morning at work and would not say a word....next time its my Boat air horn in their ear....

Got a recorded message about lowering interest.  Had to push 1.  Waited a couple minutes for someone to answer.  They even have music playing whike u wait.  a lady came on and I told her i don't have any credit card and asked her to take me off the list.  She said she would absolutely do that.  We'll see.  My mom has been scanned not once but twice by these guys.  And they tried again the other day.  Luckily i was there and took the phone from her.  I asked who's this, he said who's this.  I told him I won't say till he tells me.  He said "never mind!  I'm cancelling your moms credit cards!"  What a clown

Unfortunately there are still many people that don't have the advantage of caller id to screen their calls and therefore are more vulnerable to the card service scammers and other lowlifes that are out to cheat us. Many of the people that don't have caller id are the elderly, the card service scammers know this,and that's why they are the scammer's main targets. It's important that we spread the word of this and other scams before others are taken advantage of!

I can't understand how they can still get suckers for this tired old scam. Who in the world hasn't heard of this one by now? I've been getting them for at least 7 years and never been stupid enough to fall for it.  I don't answer my phone anymore unless there is a name and number in the call display. I didn't answer the phone for this one and they called back seconds later with no name or number at all. I came here to find out who it was. No surprise here, same old hucksters at it again.

The callers are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have been fooled by these lowlifes have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these scum, and warn others before they are cheated!

They have been calling us in Montreal too. Don't ever call them back, they are phising for personnal info. Very dangerous.

They will call you dozens of times before stopping. It will stop eventually. Just don't call them. Ever.

Had a call from them this evening. Was the robo call for a credit card matter. PFFFT! lol jokes on them because the call I recieved before them was my real card company and I make my card company jump through hoops to prove it's them calling and not just a scammer :)
Never take chances when it comes to your money or credit. If you don't know the number don't answer it or let it go to voice mail. Then take the number and check it on line just to make sure that it's not some relative trying to get a hold of you from a number you don't know.

I had a call from then on 24/06/13 but since I didn't recognize the number I didn't answer. Hopefully this is the first and last from them.

I answered but there was no one on the other end. Just silence. I said hello five or six times then just hung up.

This number has called our home number two times in the last two days, nobody talks when you answer the phone, and it's very annoying, as we work shift work. They don't leave a message if you don't answer, so if its so important for them to get a hold of someone, then they should leave a message. These kind of phone calls are way out of control and something needs to be done to stop this kind of harassment!!!!
