I called the # back - it's eastlink

answered the call, but there was nobody there - nothing! very annoying!

They just called me, got excited thinking it was a interview calling me... But nope guess not

Me too Meg...they've been calling everyday for a week now so I answered it tonight.  They ask for my husband by name and when I told them he was at work and asked if I could help them, she said no and hung up....nice

I also got a call from this number three times last week on three different days.  I was not around to pick-up.  No voicemail left either.

They called me twice today and no one was on the other line....its so annoying

it called my place today i did reverse look up and it said it was a eastLink landline in halifax, my hubby answered and nothing- when i called it back it says its not in service- well thats crap cuz they calle me from it 2 mins before!

It's Eastlink call center apparently calling.  I actually called the police cause for the longest time, they were calling my house and not answering and then when my 4 year old answered, some man on the other end said "is your daddy at home"..when I took the phone from him and started saying hello..they hung up.  I called Eastlink, asked to speak to a supervisor and when I told them why, the girl said she would take my number off the call list but it may take a few days for it to get removed.  I told them I called the cops and everything so she sent a message to the supervisor of the call center to tell him what's been going on and assured me I'd not be getting anymore calls...and since then, this particular number has only called my place 1 or 2 times since.  Good luck to you :)

This number called me today my daughter answered it and she said that she could hear the caller laughing with someone and then they ask for me, I wasn't home. I called the number back went right to a voicemail but too many messages, couldn't leave one.

I have been getting calls from this number this week as well...when I answer, there is just silence.  Does anyone know how I would block this number?  VERY FUSTRATING!!!

When it rang I answered No response , Just Dead tone .      lets Prank Em back perhaps ?

This number has been calling my cell for about 3 weeks now. I don't answer because is not a number I recognize and I use my caller ID always. If its a number I don't know, I don't answer. Usually they are telemarketers. Today they called me 3 times and its only 5PM. I have already gotten 2 calls from this number in one evening so today I may have 5 calls from them! That is harassment I would say.

Answered the call, no answer. After about 10 seconds of me asking "Hello?" there was a click, the sound of the call disconnecting.

Repeatidly gettting calls from this number, very frustrating as i need my phone for business calls.
Any suggestions on how to make them stop?

They've called my place 4 times now and no answer however when my 4 yr old son answered, they asked if his "daddy" was home...when I took the phone from him, again..no answer.  I've blocked the number.

I got a call and with no reply to my hello it has to be a autodialer.
And my bill is not behind so they must be looking for business.
Telemarketers are a pain!!

I just got a call, the second one this week - nothing but silence down the phone. Creepy, like a crank caller. I don't appreciate it!

Two missed calls from this number - one today and one last Saturday. No message left.

I received a call from a real human from this number. They wouldn't leave a message for my husband.

Message noting my account overdue. Put $50 towards it.
Two calls in one evening, neither provided response to my answer. Internet cut off the next night.
Paid the overdue. Two further calls from them, with no response to my answer.
My answer now? Thanks, Eastlink, for reminding me how much time I waste on the internet, and how much you charge just because you can. I want a better rate, and if I don't get it then you can spend what you do earn on attracting another customer to replace me.
CAP sites are cheap, and they remind one of how much of one's life is being wasted.

Pathetic they call and don't leave a message. And I've called eastlink to report it and they say they can't fix it, its just an automachine thing. Complete garbage.
