All of these companies have been closed for over 2 years we don't do any automated calling stop posting my information saying I am doing this. It is like me just taking your name and posting it all over the internet saying that it is you doing this.

Yeah, I get the same call...no sound, just static.  Just reported to the Telco for abuse.

this number called me many times, i have since figured out that this is a calling card company and someone using a calling card is trying to call you.take it for what its worth, i am 100 percent positive of what i've to say.

They keep calling to only dead air... annoying ... on my cell phone at that!

If you are fed up with these idiotic telemarketer calls, I would suggest you complain to the Federal Trade Comission, the Better Business Bureau, and file a complaint with donotcall.gov. And if you really want to have some fun call all of the above numbers repeatedly and tell Mr. Rubini what you think of his telemarketing business. He manages to waste our time, perhaps we can waste some of his. Remember Time = Money ! Hope you have fun, Oh yeah, Paybacks a b***h!

That # called my home to inquire about a poster I had put up the day before about a missing siamese cat. A female voice said, " I'll check on that detail and call you back." No one called back and we can't call that # It just rings twice and then sounds the busy signal. One option with the phone is to limit incoming calls to a pre approved list and if you are not on that list you cannot call. The two rings would be to allow the phone to recognize the phone number of the caller.

I also think it's a LD carrier number.

This is just the local number for Skype or VOIPBUSTER service.
So someone just tried to call you from the internet and the connexion wasn't that good. So the puzzle is busted.

Person on other line acts like the know the business owner.  When I asked who was speaking (twice) they just said "I'll try back later".  At least they should have the common courtesty to tell you who they are.  They probably don't because they know we won't answer when they call back...LOL...pain in the butts!!

This insanity has to stop! This is one of about 35 numbers that has called my line in the last 4 months as a fax line! I must be on some DL that I don't know about!

getting that number too operator says it some Halifax number doens't have any information on it.

I just started getting calls from this number today.  I don't get it! Why is this happening?

This number phones my cell phone 3 times a day on average, during the weekdays. It's been doing it for about a month now. If I answer, it 'clicks' lightly for about 15 seconds or so and then hangs up. It's bloody annoying and appears to serve no purpose.

yes, they called twice this afternoon , but said nothing, where is the XXX RCMP????

I got a call too, but it was from a long distance phone card in Toronto.  the Caller was my mother-in-law. So I *60'd it and had it blocked anyway. I kid but when I get the cruise ship horn I *60, and it gets rid of them

got a call from these people this morning.  Said they were from CRS and told me that they were calling regarding an outstanding account with Canadian Tire.  I told them that I don't have an account with Canadian Tire and the woman argued with me.  Said that I had made payments on the account up until 2004.  I disagreed, and said that if there were any charges in my name (they had the correct info) then they would have to show me the transaction records with my name signed at the bottom.  She was very rude, and told me that I wasn't listening.....that I owed X on this account and that payment was to be paid in full or further action will be taken.  I again said that they would need to show me the records of transactions with my signature.......she said that "I needed to listen very carefully" (not in a nice tone either) and I said that she needed to listen to me, I do not and have not ever had an account with Canadian Tire and that if she thinks I have a balance outstanding that they would have to prove to me that I made the purchases.  Seems like I may have a problem with some sort of Identity theft........she said she should call back at another time when I was willing to listen.  It'll be the same conversation the next time she calls.  Show me the proof....
