my wife received a call from this number. they said they are calling on behalf of TD Canada trust. they have all my wife's info. don't know how they got it, and they were saying that my wife was pre-approved for a 10K credit card. she didnt accept it, and they called at least 4 more times that day, but we didnt answer the phone. this could be a scam.

Wow... I've been getting this number calling me, too. I was very surprised to stumble across this site with others as well. They've been calling me for days but there's never anyone on the other end. It's pissing me off. Aw, does that mean I still have another week to deal with this?!

was offered the option to have my name and number removed from their lists.
Prompted to enter my phone number starting with area code and ending with a pound sign.
Was told it would take 3 days to be removed, and may continue to receive calls within that period.
Apollogies for the inconvience, yeah right, how about removing my name and number immediately, how 'bout that.
"Nice" customer service. Minacs and any other outsourced company out there for the purposes of SELLING, are just giving the companies they are contracted by look terrible. If you can't remove a name and number instantly, then you don't care who you inconvience, you're apollogies mean nothing to me because they're just empty words. I may not hear from this number for a while, but I have an erie feeling that I'll hear from them again, because money is the only thing that matters to these people << a little secret, everytime they call someone and you answer they make MONEY!!>>

I have received this call over 15 times in two weeks. I made the mistake and anwsered it the first time and they have never stopped calling since. Really pisses me off.

It's Onstar. They make these annoying calls to sell you more service. Call them back and follow instructions to remove your number from their list.
